I agree with you that I don't think it will contribute too much to the decline of the general as long as the autistic arguments are Naruto-related (it's pretty much expected to have autism in a Naruto general), but we do have a minor problem with quality dropping in the threads when a waifu-war starts where you just have to skip like 10% of a thread because all discussion becomes side-tracked. Still largely the only major problem is people not bringing up stuff to talk about. It's really easy to bring up fresh discussion, but a lot of the time I only do it when I'm reading/watching something Naruto related.


Has far as autism goes, it doesn't get much worse than the /pol/-anti/pol/ argument from like 5 days back - at least waifu shit never gets that bad.

I want to preface this by saying I'm not anti-Rin or pro-Rin. That being said, her moveset in NUNS4 did seem like the designers had just run out of ideas, for the most part. What do you think would've been better skills or abilities for Rin in-game? Almost everyone here seems to think that logs and the semi-lewd kick-in-the-face-and-show-off-your-spats techniques either weren't a good fit, or showed a lack of imagination.

I know Rin didn't have a lot of fleshing out in the actual canon, but I still think the developers could've done a bit better than what they had. The Three-Tails release was cool though.

As someone who's very pro-Rin I was satisfied with her in Storm 4. She had my favourite triangle-triangle-circle move, and I actually like the semi-lewd kick thing. As for the log I'm pretty sure they were just going for moves that absolutely any character in the series could perform. The only thing I didn't really care for was the standard combo ending with that exploding kunai.
