Anyone else enjoying the shit out of Mighty Number 9? Been ages since i last played a Megaman game, three levels in here and having a blast. Graphics and cutscenes could be much better, but the dashing mechanic is fun and the difficulty is JUST RIGHT.
Although there's no excuse for those 4 million he asked, Jewnafune actually delivered a fun little game. Glad i pirated it.

I own the game on 3DS and I can say it's definitely worth getting. The PC version is better translated however. It's got fast paced gameplay and great boss fights. Some people don't like the tagging system in the game and you'll probably never use the crafting mechanic but if the tagging system doesn't bother you, then you'll love this game. If you're good and you rack up 1000 kudos without getting hit, you get to hear Lumen sing (or if you're shit at the game you can just look up Lumen's songs on youtube)

WHY THE FUCK didn't we get MHX and Powered Up 2-6?
Just think of all the money Capcom could be swimming on, X9, ZX3 and Legends 3 could've happened by now dammit. When I was recording footage for the Hadouken video and I cleared the game, I saw Inafune's name in the beginning of the credits. Was he to blame for this? I know that they didn't do 2-6 of either series because poor sales numbers, and I know I should be thanking Inafune, pretty sure the remakes were HIS idea in the first place, but I have to ask... Why the PSP?
Don't get me wrong, I fucking love the PSP and I'd be playing MMZ on it if the screen hadn't gone to shit a year ago and the x button wasn't stuck and the volume up button wasn't dead and I had a model other than the shitty yurop exclusive street one...
But they would've done so much better on consoles. Imagine what Maverick Hunter X would look like on a PS3? Fuckin amazing. As for Powered Up, they'd have to do some tinkering to make it more aesthetically pleasing on a big screen but with a level editor it would've been more successful on consoles. I love playing MHX on the emulator and seeing all the charming graphical effects they did with sprites to save resources, but it wouldn't be bad if they went full 3D either. Full length cutscenes for example, instead of what we got in the end. And The Day of Sigma. THE DAY OF FUCKING SIGMA. Imagine if they did that for every X game?
Maybe they put the games on handhelds because they couldn't afford devving for consoles... But then how did Donte happen? I don't know who's idea it was to put the game on PSP, but they need to be shot.

IMAGINE IF THEY DID MHX3, I WOULDN'T BE HAVING TO FORCE MYSELF THROUGH X3 JUST TO PLAY ALL THE OTHER ONES. BUT INSTEAD ALL I CAN DO IS TELL BIT TO FUCK OFF AND STOP KILLING ME SO I CAN KILL TUNNEL RHINO TO GET HIS WEAPON AND GO GET THE ARMOR UPGRADES. GOD DAMN I REALLY DON'T LIKE X3.
