I think the ilvl of those weapons was related to your character's raiding progress. If you hand't cleared anything then you just get 655 ilvl weapons.

so what is there to do in the pre patch? whats this invasion shit ive been hearing about?

hunters feel like absolute garbage, I feel like they killed my class. No more traps for bm/mm, both those specs dumbed down as fuck (even more than they were in WoD). I havn't played much survival yet, but it looks fun I guess, I have to try it out more.

Also, the new character stat page is fucking retarded. There is no reason to not show armor, attack power, attack speed, etc. on that panel. It's dumbing down just for the sake of it. Also the fact that "ILVL" takes half the stat page pretty much shows the current state of WoW gearing. It's pretty much dumbed down to ilvl = better item. No worrying about those complicated stats anymore! I have to download an addon just to see this information again. Can't blizz just put an "advanced" button on the stats page?

They also pruned the interface menu and removed a bunch of options, you also have to download an addon to get these back.

I kind of like playing my spriest but can't see myself switching mains, been playing this hunter since day 1 and he will always be my main so that sucks.

One thing that irks me is if you have an inappropriate item on a character it won't tell you whether you know it or not. Say cloth on a druid for example.

Okay... So why exactly should this game be of my liking, again?

Don't get me wrong, I've tried and tried and retried it over and over, looked over classes, tried stuff; heck, I used the beta to try out more stuff that was about to come, and I can even enjoy it to a certain point.

But there's nothing there calling me back to play again after a few days. I consider that I'm really into the MMORPG genre, and with WoW is something like "Eh, I've tasted it, it's not bad, but I wouldn't eat it again if given a choice."

And I swear to god, I felt amazing when I pummeled things down with my troll monk; is there anything wrong with me besides race&class choice?

I cant decide if its worth resubbing or not.

I kinda wanna mess around with classes and characters, since I really didnt have time to play the PTR last month. But other than that, im not sure what else to do in game.

I already have my mythic reaver mount. I guess I could work on reps and doing some BGs, but I cant really see myself resubbing just to grind out some really minor stuff that isnt even all that fun, especially since all my friends are going to stay unsubbed till legion, leaving me to my own devices.

BGs are normalized now, you dont need pvp gear or anything. You can hop straight in and be relatively competitve.
