Holy fuck prot paladin is fucking destroyed.

Completely brainless, every ability is simplified and disconnected from one another. The only interaction between skills is that some gain bonus effects while standing in a (now completely unmoving) conseecration. No more maximising holy power generation to keep up mitigation to improve your self heal, now it's just "press this button to take less dmg for a couple of secs", "press this button to heal yourself for 25%", it doesn't even fucking compare to the rather dynamic spec prot previously was.

Honestly I thought ret changes made the spec clunky but hooooleeee fuck prot is a fucking disaster.

Are pvp numbers better on the beta right now? I stopped after I got a warrior to 110 because pvp was hot hot garbage. Wondering if I should hop on and see which class I like best at max since everything is very wet noodley now. At least holy priests seem more holy.

I think the endgame of XIV is some of the worst handled content ever seen.
But apart from that, and requiring dungeon queues to progress on the main story, and also the fact that Summoners are shit and nothing like what any version of any actual Summoner is, the game is pretty fun.

Why is it that the most fun classes always have the most negative perception from the community? I'm talking specifically about Disc Priest and Outlaw Rogue. Blizz did countless balance patches on the beta. And on the beta, sure, they may have been weak. But they also buffed both specs super hard when they released the patch to Live. So are people just going by what they heard the balance was like on Beta, without testing it out themselves or looking at the Live numbers?

I never rerolled due to class changes but Legion might just do it. Every Paladin spec is an unfun, clunky mess.

As someone currently in the beta, you all sound like children. None of you have done any research on the expansion, or if you have you're being ignorant on purpose. None of you are 110, none of you have an artifact weapon, none of you know what end game is like yet. If you are on the beta also,and still complaining in this thread we must not be playing the same beta or your view point is heavily bias. So many of you claim to have "been subscribers for years" yet act like the mass changes and new mechanics are a surprise.

To further push the point. Leveling is glorious and story heavy in legion. Professions are fun and quest based. Order halls are everything garrisons should have been with a lot more flare and fun. Dalaran is an active hub. End game is full of content with challenging raids, and mythinc + adding lots of replay value and gearing options. If you dont like the ability prune (despite my former point) many classes actually maintained or even gained some buttons, so switch to those. If you arent willing to adjust then you've been a baby as long as you've been a subscriber and probably never contributed to the game as a whole anyway
