I was just using cloth since they usually gave more bonus to mages, but I was taking so much damage from archer and someone recommended that to me. Is worth losing the bonus that Cloth gives to use Plate?

There is nothing to gain from going to wiz3 and then going into a support class. You can't even claim to share the quick cast buff which is worthless without the attribute with spiritual link. Just wtf are you doing with your build?

Chrono cookie cutter is quicken 15 haste 10 pass 5, priority is that list in reverse. Stop shouldn't go beyond 1 point. Backmasking is for ticking off elememes after they place their cloud or expensive res. Either 1 point or 0. Rest of the spread is up to you.

Yes, you are retarded. You aren't going to deal any damage whatsoever with just Wiz3. The ranks you get your decent DPS abilities in are already taken up by Chrono circles. Going Wizard3 is a complete and utter waste and will just make nobody want to play with you, Magic Missile is decent but not that great and it's certainly not going to be anywhere near enough for people to invite you over a full support Chrono.
There is the Pyro3 Chrono3 build but that's primarily for PvP, but it's really kinda whatever for general PvE play. That might be closer to what you are looking for though, maybe?

Max Quicken, Haste, and Pass. Make sure you save enough points to max all of those right as you hit Chrono3.
Backmasking is pretty much just a resurrect, get at least 1 point into it and use it to hero shit when your healer dies. It costs 10k silver a use so you probably won't want to use it for every single death.
Reincarnate 1 is always enough, if it ever isn't you just suck at timing it.
Slow and Stop are up to personal preference, really. They both have their uses, but aren't particularly amazing

That's not true. I had difficulties finding leveling groups on my PyroChrono and that actually offers more in terms of CC than Linker1. People don't recruit linkers that only have 1 circle in it, it's honestly not good for anything but soloing since it just breaks in less than a second, has too few targets, and its hangman's is literally worthless. It being really fucking easy to find Chronos doesn't really help your case either, whenever I recruit for Storage or Maven I can quite literally pick between 5 of them. I can tell you straight up that you wouldn't even be on my radar.

If you desperately want to have Magic Missile on your Chrono then that build is probably the way to go about it, but you have to be aware that you are going to spend a lot of time on a character that's not going to be good for anything. If you want to solo on that character then you are better off with the Pyro. Wiz3 into Chrono might be good in the far, far, future if we get a good DPS R9 that stands on its own. Right now the only high circle DPS class Wizards have is Warlock and that requires you to have good AoE damage to create Evil Spirits and really get much use out of it, going Wiz3 Link Chrono3 War1 would be pretty worthless because of that.

JP only lasts for JP Level x 10 hits. Let's say you only have JP5 because you are Linker1 and link 5 mobs, 50 hits and it's gone. 50 might sound like a lot, but a "hit" is every single damage number that pops up, so even if you only have a 1 line auto attack you could actually only auto those 5 linked mobs 10 times before it breaks, since it obviously shares the hit to every linked mob. It's really not very good, especially in a party.

It does that with a lot of skills though, it's not something that's exclusive to Magic Missile and makes a lot more sense than MM sharing every hit to every target. If it shared the way you propose it would deal 5x its normal amount to every enemy that's linked and would be absolutely retarded. AoEs used to share in that way but IMC made the conscious decision to nerf it, so I don't think that's how they want it to work.
