Honestly, games like the last one I just played completely destroy any semblance of fun or potential interest in me coming back, and this isn't just tf2, I'm going to pick on Overwatch as well

It's the same shit with overwatch, my experience with the game shouldn't be ruined just because someone leaves, or not just one but multiple people leave, so you're just stuck in a lobby down 2-4 people and there's nothing you can do, there's nothing an engineer, or a sniper, or a scout or a soldier can do against 1 v 5, you're just dead, it's not even an argument, it's just fact. What the fuck am I even supposed to do in this situation? Just leave the game? What's the point of fucking playing video games if I'm just going to leave every time things aren't going well. The worst part is that it seems like no one has that same sense of duty to continue until the round ends. It's just one shit show after the other, and don't even get me started on how it's absolutely zero fun fighting an entire group of people with mics and who are communicating effectively versus your team of 6 year old Brazilians and an old folks home. I just want to have fun.

Exactly, I had zero problems with how it was before, I had some serves on favorites, saw a map I wanted to play and jumped in. If one team was raping the other, autobalance was right in the next corner.

Now they've made games slower to start on top of making you stick with the same old people all the time. One of the fun things of pubs was how a scramble would change the game a lot, playing with that guy that you knew he's a good medic for example, and so on.

They can play until they are 35-40 at the highest level possible, and they have the highest reflex requirement. Playing FPS is all about reflexes, muscle memory and experience.
