I think Slim is a little underrated.
He's probably still low tier, but he's not completely worthless if you have max reload and a good sunny or hank to keep you alive.
If you can actually hit most pellets consistently you get to healing burst ridiculously often, to the point where focusing anyone other than Slim basically doesn't work, and while his self healing is really reduced it still enough that you can regain most of your health in the duration of a Hank shield or while dodging with Sunny's jetpack boost.

I think his main problem is that if you or your support fuck up just once, fail to dodge a rock or break LoS or something, you're going to die and there's nothing you can do about it. And that there's just no reason to pick him over Caira/[Rogue]Val, but that's more that they're just the best than that he is shit.

He's really fun to play, its just a shame that he isn't really worth it.
If it were up to me, I'd replace the spore cloud with something useful rather than fix his weak self healing.
Maybe a short duration personal version of the jetpack boost. It would make sense, given that he has wings, to be better at aerial mobility than the other hunters and doesn't give him infinite sustain.

Kraken is a big target for harpoons a lot of the time, and being harpooned drags kraken down faster, so pretty much Griffin for everything. Maggie is also decent since her traps seem to work regardless of height and most krakens don't bother with paying attention to traps.

I think Parnell is underrated.
He doesn't have the most DPS, but it is very consistent. Unlike many others, he can still do some damage with his primary at a distance.
He works best when you alternate between his weapons. If you time it with his ability right, he will do tons of damage.

I do pretty much all of that. stage 1 i get all 4 points stage 2 i get acid web and spider stage 3 i get web and acid maxed. i only use decoy to finish someone off or if i'm in the dome. as soon as the round starts i put a spider where the trappers land it gets someone 75% of the time. justs to spook them. i always leave a spider out somewhere to track there movements. almost constantly have the minimap up watching it. i'm usually pretty good at hitting stage 2 before being found.

A monster can easily circumvent the stasis with jumps and abilities.
It's most useful when the monster is trying to get away, but Crow does it much more effectively by not relying on the monster to stay at the mines.

Don't forget that crow also needs to actually be able to see the monster to slow it.

Both trappers are different and both are good. Plus tracking dart is the most useful out of all the tracking abilities.

I main monster and people have been saying it's just unpleasant fighting competent hunters, should I continue my 24+ winning streak as MG or start gitting gud with hunters like Sunny, R.Val and Griff? If anything I'm enjoying playing against good hunters, gets a bit boring seeing Sunny everygame though.

Sunny is the best support by quite a bit right now.

Her drone can shield herself, making her the only support that can protect herself with anything other than 4. Her jetpack booster makes it impossible to kill anyone who knows how to dodge, and means the monster can't escape your trapper after a dome.
You have to focus her because anyone else gets away with jetpack boost, but she's the hardest support to kill.
She has the second best primary weapon of all the supports, but you don't even use it that much because everything else she does is even better.

The way the game works right now, the most important aspect of a team is survivability.
All the hunters need to do to win is not die, if the monster can't get strikes he can't do anything regardless of if they're doing much damage or not.
And since 80% of a teams damage comes from the assault anyway you aren't missing much picking defensive supports.
Also the dome mechanics mean that if the monster wants to run they're going to be able to after losing the same amount of health regardless of how fast it was dealt.

Parnell is playable, he's just worse in every way than Blitz/Markov and worse in most ways than Lennox and Hyde.

How do you even play as a Monster? Why would yopu even attack drone itself? Liteally any random attack against hunter nearby destroys it, I did it myself as Monster randomly without even realizing until I tried to play as a Sunny and saw how easy it gets wiped out in battle.

Sunny sure is great but nowhere as great as Hank. Second best - yeah. Nothing tops Hank, though, it is a full and right packed package of damage and shield.

I love the deep lore of evolve, something I just picked up on is how long humans can live for. My hypotheses is that it is at least 300 years.

The fact that the game is so hunter favored that above level 20 its common to get multiple matches in a row where the person who gets monster dodges rather than bother.
Also that the best team composition is one of the 3 good assaults, one of the 3 good medics that can heal well, and one of the 3 good supports that can shield well and games against these teams all play out the same, reducing variety in an already content staved game.

keep duking inside the dome until your health starts going down and then run for it, your fast enough to outrun the hunetrs so don't bother being stealthy until your on the other side of the map

then eat a shit ton of food before attempting to stealth if any hunters appear

rinse and repeat until level 2, and again put all points into chain lightening and lightening strike, wail on hunters until dead
