Are there any alternatives to Spears by Soolie? I want spears in Skyrim with proper animations but don't really want to start another new game. I also keep reading it's a pain to install but I don't know if that's retards who don't read mod descriptions properly or if it really is hard to install. Won't know until I try. I installed SoS using MO and I noticed that feet textures are partially messed up. I do not use any other texture or mesh body mods, and I really don't knwo what could be causing this. My load order goes sos.esm, sos.esp, then sos regular and sos muscular.

Any ideas on how to fix this? I already tried reinstalling the mod twice.

You're welcome anon, best thing about True Storms is it adds alot of different weather effects. It may not seem like it, but in this screenshot there is a light daytime rainstorm. It eventually picked up and got really heavy. I'd suggest using True Storm with Wonders of Weather, you'll get small splash/ripple effects on the ground and sometimes rainbows after storms. Aswell as shooting stats.

Sculpting faces is hard, especially when you have no sense of what makes a person beautiful. I steal faces all the time, make a minor edit here and there, put a different hair on it, and call it a day. There's nothing gained by spending hours in RaceMenu's sculpt and having nothing to show for it.

Step is good for ini settings, they meticulously documented most of the settings, which ini file they actually go in (this is huge, tons of guides tell you to put shit in the wrong ini file and it doesn't actually do anything), and what settings are optimum for looking good while maintaining good performance.

They also have a bunch of good mod advice, simply ignore the shit you don't like and use it as a resource, don't actually follow their guide or use the files on their nexus page.

Vampire Lord is fine unless you're playing above adept; I raised that shit just by zooming around the world map killing shit. During the day, I might add; no health regen is not really going to affect you as much as you think if you aren't constantly getting hit. Now that I think of it, I wonder if the autoloot mod works in Vampire Lord/Werewolf form; that would be pretty fucking useful.

Oh and if you have Serana as a follower, you might unknowingly be nerfing yourself, Bethesda actually put in a check on the Vampire Lord drain bomb, where it's significantly weaker than usual if she is your current follower (which is absolute bullshit). You'll have to fix that with a mod or ditch her.

A big problem in this game i found is AOE spells, it's so easy to accidentally hurt your allies/innocents. One of my favorite spells from grimore/apocolypse is hellfire, but the whole "ground catches fire" thing ruins some of it.

I sometimes use acquisitive soul gems. The main point to using it is that it fixes bugs with filling soul gems, like if shit dies simultaneously with a big AOE, the vanilla script will fuck up and not handle it properly. I may be wrong, it's been a while since I last had it in my load order. IIRC they had a Youtube video that explained the difference between vanilla and itself, so maybe go watch that.

Just use it as your base for installing mods, pick & choose which ones you'd want to install and throw tesg's recommended mods on top of it. Pick up a longsword before you enter the arena. Then just run backwards and slash and if you get hit, cast healing.
