Can we talk about the longevity of this game? I don't think Nintendo or Niantic expected this game to be this big, if they want to keep the $ train rolling they will have to do so fast.

I have heard that the reason the game doesn't currently have a proper battle system is Nintendo didn't want a mobile game to compete with sun / moon. But now they may have no choice.

Trading won't do it, adding a Battle system would be great in addition to other things like breeding / skins for pokemon, NPC gyms to takeover etc.

Honestly I don't think I will be playing this 1 month from now with the current amount of content.

Evolving gets you different moves, which could be a lot better or hardly worth it. Levelling just makes everything a tiny bit better. But evolving increases the level cap so it's good to do it eventually even if the moves aren't worth it alone. Basically just depends on which Pokemans you prefer.
