you need a group to get to 68+ and the randoms start to become better so you should be able to rank up solo. I landed on 67 after placement matches solo (got lucky), so I havent met a lot of terrible players. I'm rank 72 now solo and when I lose it's because I meet better players, not because my own team is garbage. but I've heard everything under 60 is cancer on solo since almost everyone, even the shittiest people, place around 50-55ish

Junkrat traps are good, especially if she's focusing you for some reason. If you're good at Genji, he works since they're equally mobile. If you land a Roadhog hook and don't completely fuck up the M1 somehow, she's vaporized.

Basically, if you're asking, anyone that requires minimal aim or is very mobile.

Anyone else getting really fucking bored of facing the same shit every time everywhere?

Roadhog, Zarya, Pharah, Reaper, Soldier 76, Lucio.

Literally every game I've played in the last 2-3 days just has this same mirror comp going on with slight variations. Doesn't matter if its attack or defend, Payload or KotH, whatever. Every map, every side runs this same fucking comp.

Sometimes people drop one of the offensive heroes, or even Lucio for a Mercy or something. Sometimes you get a Reinhart in there somewhere. But other than that, I've not seen any of the other heroes in play at all.

Is the balance in this game really that fucked? If the game is just mirror comps everywhere 2 months in, it really doesn't bode well for the competitive future of OW at all.

Quickplay matches are a complete coinflip because some people might be playing seriously while others are messing around or practising classes they aren't useed to. A competent player may have been spending all their quickplay matches only messing around aftern competitive came out and, thus, tanking their MMR. Then one QP match this person decides to tryhard for whatever reason and suddenly the opposing team is playing against one opponent way above their skill level. Even if everyone has the same MMR the matchmaker cannot predict how the players are going to choose to play so the result of every round is completely unpredictable even without changing the teams.

This is pretty much non-existent in competetive because pretty much everyone is there trying their hardest to win.

Torbjorn turrets will help keep her back, but she'll probably target them first
If it's KOTH, your best options I find are Reaper and hope you can rinse her before she recalls, and Junkrat for doing freak 120 damage when you spray your bombs around, the mine also helps close range and the trap can get lucky captures (which disable her blips) on the point

Also she struggles to hit Pharah I guess since her guns are kinda short range, but a Tracer with a good aim will still give you bother I suppose
