In order to be able to search for FRC glyphs you will need to make (and complete) Isz, Lower Loran and Pthumuru Ihyll preset chalices.

Make the Isz one, then complete it to get the Isz root chalice, then make a Isz Root Chalice with all 3 additional rites. Now you can search for any Isz glyph with any of the rites. You wont be able to join any Depth 5 Loran or Pthumuru chalices until you have the respective Root chalice in your inventory, but you wont need to make one to unlock them, as long as you've made one Depth 5 with all 3 rites of any kind, and have the correct Root chalice you can join any glyph.

Yeah, that always bothered me. It's not a villiage, it has some of the largest and most impressive structures in the game, and it's not even unseen, it's visible from Old Yharnam and parts of Cathederal Ward, plus the entrance is a 2 minute walk from the Grand Cathederal.

More like Yharhagul, the seen Suberb.

It would have been so much cooler if it was an actual villiage, a decent distance from Yharnam (connected to the forest or Hemwick instead?) and not made of pure stone/brick. A small township obscured by fog with villagy type buildings and overgrown tree's and grass would have been much cooler. The pigs and dogs pre-nightmare would better fit going up a muddy Main Street than a fancy brick road, and if it were properly isolated the sense of dread and unwelcomeness would be amplified.

Same with Byrgonworth, it could have been done so much better.

Yeah, when I first heard the term "Yharhagul the Unseen Villiage" before I even played the game, I think someone was saying how the game gets REALLY messed up at that point, my mind instantly invosioned a smallish isolated villiage with run down wooden houses and some larger structures like a townhall/church, with fog everywhere and full of disturbing things.

Now that I've played the game, I still think that would have worked well. Amyacdala's clinging to the larger structures and looking down at you would be terrifying, especially if the fog only cleared post-Blood Moon and you could barely see anything if you got sent there early.

Plus if it was actually a villiage and not sharing a wall with the city, then it could connect to Hemwick, allowing a third way to open the Cathederal Ward gates, by getting captured and walking out, doing Hemwick in reverse.

For serious though, in writing, there is usually three faces of the woman: calm and capable, sexy and dangerous, cute and innocent. Personally, I don't think there is much wrong with her other than that BS charge. Fighting her at a range alleviates it's problems, but I am not a fan of forcing people into a certain style of play. I prefer when each option is equally viable.

Add 10-20 points into Vit and you're good in terms of stats. You can get Skl to 25 for extra damage, Arc to 15 for Beast Roar but both are optional. A Heavy Abyssal and 2 27.2% gems are optimal. What are you stuck at?

If you're having difficulty the easiest thing you can do to change that is to level up your weapon and to get the Hunter's Set. To get the Hunter's Set go past the two huge dog beasts on top of the bridge and then take a right. You can probably run past the dog beasts or you can draw them back into a doorway and cheese them with long range attacks.

Parry by shooting people just before they hit you. This works on a lot of bosses.

Go for a specific build when you level up. As in, either 50 Skill or 50 Strength or 50 Strength 25 Skill. Pick weapons with good scaling in that attribute. Level up vitality a lot, it should always be higher than every other attribute until it's at level 35.

Cleric Beast? That's actually an optional boss. There should be some sewers nearby that will take you to the real first boss and a shortcut to the beginning of the level.

If you want to git gud at Cleric Beast though: shoot his head when he's about to attack, he will get stunned and you can perform a visceral attack that will take a huge chunk of health from him. Wait for him to heal (glows red and stops moving) then you can do it again. Repeat a few times and he'll be down. Molotov cocktails work in place of guns (and do more damage to boot!).

Are you fully gemmed up? If so, not a problem. At least not more of a problem than she was the first time. If you're still rolling with Mensis gems, it might be a little more difficult. I never had a whole lot of trouble with Rom outside of the chalice encounter when low level though, so your mileage may vary.

I've always killed all the first spiders, beat the shit out of her, hopefully interrupting the first teleport, then gunning for her as well, and I've never had much of an issue. I think a lot of that comes from never having to deal with the meteors from the sky.

Anyway, if you just fight her in the way you feel most comfortable and you have a +10 weapon with some 27.2%'s and 50 in your chosen damage stat, I think you'll be fine.

About the blood echoes, I used to care, but I've died too many times because of stupid shit to Watchdog or Watchers and lost upwards of 4 million Blood Echoes multiple times to care anymore. Especially if I've nothing left to buy or level up.
