Okay, so let me tell you why you all should watch this fucking stupid amazing game, especially you Twitchy Smash kids that live as a leech under your mother's basement and don't follow other good shit.

I love this game, even though I suck ballsacks harder than what your grandma did to your grandpa. Yeah, I'm a fucking '16er for this game, but I craved for GG during the XX days as a youngster and watch ghetto tournaments back in the day and couldn't play it cus I still kept sucking back then. Now I actually am no longer fucking poor, meaning no longer have to lick my parents' toes to get a PS2, I have GGXrd, and it is everything I wanted. It has beautiful animations, metal, punk, hardcore edge, everything. The only thing that it's missing is mah nigga rap, but shit, fuck, the game is already perfect as it is.

The gameplay, holy shit. Not only do you see kira kira shit that makes everything shiny and porn to the eyes, but damn son, Guilty Gear screams offense. You gain high stupid meter from just moving forward. Combos are versatile as fuck, defense is actually legit, shit is chaotic, everyone is different, and the characters are crazy and badass as hell. I can go on and on about the gameplay, but that fucking guide posted everything to transition a new viewer into a new player.

Fuck, man, I just can go on and on how I love this game, but the point is watch it. Expose yourself in this upcoming Evo, and appreciate the this fucking beautiful creation of a game.

I think the main appeal of consoles is that games are guaranteed to work on them. You don't need to worry about games being optimized for a specific graphics card, or your specs not being good enough for newer games, or your PC being slow for some unrelated reason. You pop a game into your PS4 and you know it's going to work.

Yes, Leona and practically Mai retains their newer designs. Angel was designed to be a cheesecake from the start. My problem is how "in your face" the fan service is. I have nothing against sexy designs on general basis.

Ash was meant to be an "anti-hero" kind of hero and was design with that idea in mind, not like new heroes who are purely designed with "appeal to new generation", as it was stated.

Guilty Gear proved you can do 3D and look 2D. Thing is, for those who like fighting games, graphics never mattered that much in comparison to most other genres - But last 5+ years, all you hear from casual "gamers" are "wow, great/shit graphics". They don't care much for in-depth game play.

KOF almost never was mash friendly, hardly ever will be, but trying to again "in your face" appeal to as wide audience as possible at this point comes out almost as desperate. Yes though, XIV is quite forgiving in comparison to older titles.

Like do I want a more expensive PC that can run games at higher settings or should I settle for a cheaper one, none of that. Ok, that's fair. I don't really mind but some of the super animations really focus on that stuff, you're right.

Graphics aren't everything but I don't think that's the approach SNK is taking either. I believe they decided to do it in 3D to cut costs to make the game viable first and wider appeal second. XIV definitely won't impress casuals with it's looks.

I might've agreed on some of the desperate stuff before but after watching some of the developer's videos I'm really feeling like they're genuinely putting a lot of effort into the game. I guess I've been recruited to the defense force led by our boy John.
