How can I best play Medivh?

Every game I play where there's a loss the Medivh always gets blamed. Even though I usually in the middle of damage output, have the most assists, and a pretty high exp contribution.

I'm trying to play him as a support and of course there's no way for people to tell that I've constantly saved their asses with my portals and shield. Plus scouting. Plus pressure with my Q.

What more can I do?

Medhiv is like Abathur but worse, he's only good at making his teammates useful. Perfect portal placements mean nothing if no one clicks them. Perfect Ley Lines won't mean people will focus targets correctly. Invisibilty will not make bad players better or secure escapes or ganks.

He's just a tool, not a hero.

Yeah so far my experience with him has been less then stellar. Its 50% win rate so far and when we lose, we lose hard. Medivh looks hugely underpowered for the amount of work that needs to be put into him + what he offers. He doesn't offer nearly anything good enough to warrant such difficulty.

Polymorph? Bright has that
Shield? Doesn't last long enough/too low CD to actually make a difference when not used against specific heroes (it counters ults really well, but that's about it).

Portals are grossly underused by players or people don't ever want to use them for anything.

Guess its time to go on break again till the attempt to introduce another interesting hero.

So I was in game playing Nova because I'm so close to that level 20. For some odd reason I had the poverty horse, so I complained about it in chat.

As someone who IS actually gay I was just thinking. This doesn't even make sense. Are you saying that all gays are poor or something? So, as someone who is completely comfortable with their sexuality I reply with:

"Well I actually am"

And then the guy said that he was too, but clearly wasn't after he made a comment that I'm not even repeating here (partially because of the rules, and partially because I would feel disgusting).

So after I reassured the guy that I was gay, he didn't even reply. No apology, nothing. I proceeded to be nice to the team, since I didn't want to stoop down to his level, and throw out insults. I'm not toxic in game (unless I do it on accident and I don't know it).

So why am I posting this? To prove that even some comments that you think are funny can hurt people, and if you are making gay jokes, remember that someone on your team could be gay. People aren't just going to tell you in chat. And if someone does tell you they are gay in chat, they might be telling you the truth. That isn't your cue to spew off a bunch of comments about how you hate the LGBT community. You'll probably never play a game with the person again. So think before you type something in that chat box. I can't stop you, but I will report you. Just try to play nice, and stop making someone sad. Other people have feelings, and it's alright to apologize. Just try not to be toxic in general. It's alright to lose, learn from your mistakes. I'd rather make someone really happy and lose a bit of my MMR instead of making someone sad and gaining some. Okay. I think I blew off enough steam. Oh, and my formatting might be horrible. Sorry if it is.

Nazeebo kinda needs a team that can force crowded 5v5s where everyone sticks together like glue. Johanna and Kerrigan synergize well with him because of that reason, either of them can drag enemies together which makes sure both spiders and frogs connect. Zombie wall is a bit of a liability before level 13, after that it just becomes free body blocks and chase for days. Where it actually shines is sieging and mercing which is what you're supposed to be doing anyway. My goals when I play Nazeebo are 1.) not dying ever (to conserve GP) and 2.) getting my stacks at all costs, even if it means leaving a finished merc camp to get one (1) auto attack in on a dying Erik, because +30% Ability Power on spiders, frogs, running zombies AND the unmissable garg summon impact hits fucking HARD outta nowhere. Granted, if the rest of your team is shit, you're dead weight. But that's the gamble you have to risk with most heroes anyway and Nazeebo at least has the chance to turn around really fast with one or two assists at lvl 20.

Take Portal + Portal + Master's touche + Poly + Quickening + Healing W and lvl 20 is pretty much depending on their comp
You want to stack you Q at lvl 7 asap without dying. Once you finish the quest your DPS almost triples during TF. You want to assist as a ranged dps and get free poke on people and save your mates by shielding + placing portals at their feets ( pinging the hand assist sign helps too because usually they're too distracted to see them)
You can dive in ennemy comp if they can't stun you fast enough from crow form. Get in position, cast portal away + alt W and spam a Q and port away

Any lunara player ever pick Splintered Spear ? I still pick Nature's Culling most of the time despite the nerf but i tried it on TOD and it's kind of fun, especially when you carry a charge before a fight since there's no time limit. Do you think it's now a better alternative than wild vigor on certain map ?
Also i couldn't see if the extra attacks of splintered spear get the bonus damage if you pick giant killer, anybody knows ?
Sad to see they didn't touch her 1 and 4 talents though.

I kind of disagree, it doesnt affect comebacks but it does punish teams that are losing and dont capitalize on a team wipe to equalize the structures or win and Ive seen plenty of times where my team wins one or two fights and instead of pushing to win we lose because we didnt get to the core fast enough and the catapults plus enemy team fucked us.

The comeback potential is still there, you just need to take that chance instead of waddling around doing jack shit.

That's not even what I meant. With catapults especially getting this huge buff, a lane where you lost a keep (and the enemy has his) basically needs to be babysat 24/7. Combined with how standoffish lategame teamfights tend to be, it's super easy to get dragged into a poke battle around some crucial objective and just take crazy core damage or force someone to go back, getting into a 4v5.

Are you some kind of mentally challenged? Medivh exclusively shuts down damage which is all Gul'dan has in his kit save for Horrify. He literally has no CC or mobility in his kit, only damage and damage over time, both of which are not sustained enough to outlast Medivh's shield or big enough to burst someone down in the 5 seconds of cooldown between shield casts. Gul'dan might have the worst kit in recent HotS history.

It's a good idea in LeL and DotA where you need to have the feel of a certain few heroes. If you play like each hero once a year or some shit, you won't be very good.

Not anymore than before. The range buff is irrelevant to wave pushing against minions. It makes them slightly more dangerous if you allow a pack of them to reach your Core, but that's no different than before. If you were a shitter who couldn't rotate to regularly clear a pushed lane before you are still a shitter; the game just punishes you a little faster for it.
