The CP cap for some pokemon seems arbitrary. The eeveelutions at 1600 are near the same point in their CP bar as other fully evolved pokemon at 900-1200 CP.

Everyone I saw or knew joined red or blue. I originally held off on joining a team because I wanted to see what others got on, and I then felt compelled to join yellow. My goal isn't to hold gyms, but to go around and take gyms. Make gyms weaker for everyone else. Now it's easier for red and blue teams to always be at each others throats.

I used a berry and great ball on a 236 Pidgey. Circle probably as small as it can get. Pokeball only shaked once before it got out and escaped.
