But I can. I do. Check the last IB games I played with /dg/. I solo carried with like 4.0's. The difference is it's not fun anymore. I have to carry. I can't just play good enough for a couple people and let my team do the objectives. I have to play for everything. I can't even trust people on /dg/ to do it anymore if they play with me. It's not fun anymore because the matchmaking made it that way. Overwatch's forced 50 is in Destiny for me. I either get lucky enough to carry or we get fucked because I didn't do good enough. Y1 stats shouldn't even be in the calculation for SBMM. It wasn't at launch. It's relatively brand fucking new.
You don't see other popular using previous season stats. They do provisionals to determine where you belong. They don't retroactively take your previous stats, do a complete 180 on the game, and assume everything will be o fucking kay.
Bungie did it with Destiny and it turned out to be a hot fucking mess.

Thats not nerfing snipers, thats completely gutting them from being used for the majority of the playerbase. Really all they have to do is remove Hidden Hand from the perk pool. Servitors can also fill in other roles, some pilot ships, others are used as warminds in a way. In the Fallen Raid with the Archon priest Cayde says "kill the archon before his soul can be restored." Which could cement the theory that Servitors are kind of Pseudo ghosts that can revive them. Its possible that the Fallen copied the travellers Ghosts?

Yeah that's the fun part. The grim cards of Oryx' defeat tell us how, by the sword logic, we trumped Oryx and created a hole. Technically, we are supposed to take Oryx slot as we are the stronger, but the guardians don't do that. They just stick around the last city.

The irony in the whole thing is, as guardians with ghosts, we do perfectly live the ideology of the darkness, but use the travellers light to do so. Guardians are actually a really grey thing in the middle at this point.

The vex are so fucking confusing and i've got so many questions about them, i mean were they created by Crota's wound? or were they just summoned through it per chance because Savathun thought itd be funny and the vex were just chilling in their dimension? Reading into the lore the Hive and Vex fought for Hundreds of years on the Dreadnaught, The Vex created a Mind to learn about the Hive and Sword Logic and the Dark powers they use, before it was killed by Oryx it sent all it learnt to the minds of the rest of the Vex.

And in the vanilla story ghost mentions that Rasputin faced the darkness and lived.

The entire card seems to imply that Rasputin went up against the darkness and realized how impossible strong it actually is. Then he pondered how a being that is all alone can be so fucking strong and win against the traveller with all its endless light magic and the entire human empire at the golden age.

Not really, remember that they crashed the ship so they would gain a beach head into the Dreadnought. That one mission has them gathering information on Oryx himself with a team led by the primus to take him out. Remember that Cayde speculates that the bombing might only be a gamble to get Oryx to return the Primus (since they had no idea what being taken actually meant) and it might be they had no idea blowing the core would take out half of the system.

Also just pointing out the mission Outbound signal only appears after Oryx is "killed" and the brothers are dead (in the story sense) so that implies they are only now getting into contact with the head of the empire.

I would guess since Bungie is so lazy they will introduce the proto-Hive or pre Oryx hive as new hive subspecies and they'll just use the original idea they had of the Hive being more nature and insect based. Or they might use the worm infection concepts.

Oryx's Sisters and their hive are supposedly very different and mirror their leaders. Savathun will have stealthy and trickster enemies, and the other sister is very war-like so expect really brutish hive from her. They use Hive moons to get around as well.

Rag-tag, yes. Fuck ups? No. They're fighting the Vex on Mars and WINNING. They're winning against time traveling, hive mind, teleporting murder bots. That was until Oryx showed up and killed pretty much all of them. Plus they though excell at attrition warfare, the Guardians are the perfect counter to it. Plus, the Cabal have been on Mars for a LONG time, probably without receiving many reinforcements.
