The citadel has almost completed its final upgrade task, the penguin statue. We only have 10k stone left to contribute, and I bet all of the minions summoned and stone mined will be enough to finish it.

That said, what would you guys like to see upgraded next? Pic related, it's the lowest tier ranging statue, which we have. Maybe we should knock it down and build a better one in its place. Or we could upgrade the walls.

I have overloads and anguish.
I start the fight, use sacrifice and tuskas wrath, by the time snipe is firing, i cancel it and use snapshot.
For phase 2/3 I just switch between snapshot/rapidfire/bombardment. By phase 4 I have 100% adren, so I use unload to finish the phase quick.
That's it lad.

you can get the construction XP but there is only one real milestone and that is the gilded altar in the 70's (but you can use a friend's). it's an expensive skill that doesn't do much at all

If your herblore xp is too low then you could consider putting it into smithing/crafting... especially with the smithing rework coming it could become useful

I think you can earn money with smithing right now since claws are needed for invention and all ores bar runite are apparently crashing.

Useful buyables are stuff like herby or prayer.
Construction is only really useful for the guided altar and if you make tea + use oldschool style crystal saw + statue chisel you can boost level a ton.

Both OSRS and proper runegame have bonds, and I think their currency is hyperinflated due to lack of goldsinks.
So bonds are cheaper there or something.

Fucking tutorial island was the first and last "good" tutorial. Not even being a nostalgiafag, it's just that every tutorial they've tried to make afterwards missed the point. Just give the player a general idea of how to interact with the world around them. No story, no extra bullshit.

Also while the customizable interface is great if you know what you're doing, it's probably going to frustrate new players. I thought they'd start players off with the legacy interface at least. Guess not.

Combat SHOULD start off full manual, because there are so few abilities you start with it can't possible be complicated. Just use whatever abilities you can as often as possible. As you level up and unlock more stuff, it gets more complex. Then you can go to the combat academy and figure it out.

Souls die super easily in anything but phase 4.
They tank their own damage, one ability or auto should kill them.

Phase 2: tank damage, attack once
Phase 3: one tanks damage, hopefully dies. If not use the multi hit ability on the full health one to kill the first soul, kill second soul.
Phase 4: This is where it could be a choice between killing souls. If you can't dps qbd down fast enough, bombard the souls since they group up to melee you.

They only excuse to ignore souls is if you can end phase 4 quick enough since damage they deal is null if the artifact is activated.

General idea is that new higher tier smithable items will be created, slightly weaker than their current pvm-earned equivalents. The real issue is how the drop tables of current monsters and the alch values of new and old armors will be effected.

We know so far that rune, which makes up a big part of pvm profit, will see its alch value lowered considerably.

Runescape inflation is almost exclusively controlled by alching. When the alch value of rune drops, if there is nothing left to take its place there will be a massive void of incoming gp. If they don't rework drop tables to have around the same gp produced once they switch rune drops to higher tier drops, then shit's going to hit the fan.

It all comes down to personal preference. If you're bad you wouldn't like airuts, glacors and tormented demons preferred, but for top notch exbee per hour you might want to block all stryks, including ice (which are pretty fun if you don't care too much about xp).
