Subscribe to my blog, also how long until either the devs nerf Wraith and Kraken? I'm not experienced enough to know whether they're actually too strong or not but in my experience pubs whining usually makes the devs nerf characters instead of listening to the good or experienced players.

Also how do you beat monsters when you don't know which ones they've picked until right before the game starts?

Why did they decide to make the stage one monsters so disgustingly strong all in one update

I can't believe the monsters are still this OP after coming out so long ago. Did turtle rock even make an effort to balance it?

Here's a simple strategy to dick monster mains in the most upsetting way possible :

>Start the game as usual, follow the monster and push him around, get your first dome in and do some damage to intimidate the player
>DON'T LOSE YOUR FIRST DOME MATCH
>Once that's done, the monster is going to flee flee flee, DO NOT FIRE AT HIM but make sure he understands you're close
>Then, simply stay in a group and randomly wander around the map
>Do not ever dome the monster, stay in places with blatant hunter advantage (cover from ranged attacks and a lot of easily usable height)
>Run the clock
>You will win once he Stages 3 or a bit after
>If he decides to go after the relay, simply pelt him from a distance until he goes after someone. That someone should now use the good old "lure him away strategy" while the others regroup
>If done properly, you WILL win by time no matter what the monster does because the timer is stupidly low and drains fast if no combat happens

It's fucked on both sides and almost all changes need to revoked. They need to make stealth viable again by nerfing/removing planet scanner and returning foliage to the maps and also go back to weaker monsters. The whole point of evolve is that both sides are supposed to play intelligently and try to outsmart and outmaneuver the opponent, that doesn't really exist in any way right now it's just deathmatch.

As soon as you get the notification just sit there a few seconds then dart off & crouch walk. I lose their trail doing this basically every single time playing as Wraith, Kraken, or Gorgon.

I keep losing as Kraken. Seems impossible to even down a hunter, they just regen between my spells and if I focus the medic they just keep dodging forever while the others wear me down. No way to stop them from just running away.

Planet Scanner is a meme complaint. You can still feed yourself a full armor before shit goes down. Just means that reaching Stage 2 without a fight is rare, not that you need to anymore

Dome comes down INSANELY quickly once the hunters start doing real damage, usually if you down someone and they knock your armor you can just dodge for a bit because the dome is coming down. If you lose even a single health bar the dome will collapse immediately. There's zero rewards for good hunter teams that limit the damage

Air tracks is a complete meme, just means you're a BIT less likely to be tracked down, but you can still use water to fuck up tracking without slowing down

I have six hundred hours. As it stands hunters have only gotten stronger this patch, roaching, which was claimed to be removed, is still very much present. Hunters can no longer be staggered by attacks, making stunlock impossible. Monster combos have been weakened considerably since now you can't stagger. No more banshee into heavy auto in pounce.

Cloak, which was always considered very unreliable has now been replaced with a very reliable shield burst.

Hunters are now no longer under pressure to perform in domes, there's no made rush to try and scratch away at his health bar, the dome lasts 5 minutes unaugmented.

Dropshit timers are now incredibly quick, with stage 1 timers being near instant and stage 2 being a little lengthier. The main incentive for going to stage 3 right now is getting the longer respawn timers.

I nearly beat an former pro kraken with a bunch of mediocre pubs, he played with no respect, but still shows how quickly things can be turned. Trying to camp is really punishing right now.

The game was hunter favoured before the switch to F2P, and most of the changes were to make it easier for the hunters.

Dropship is a complete meme, after the first dropship the drop times skyrocket. If you get a semi-wipe and an evolve, they'll sit one minute in the respawn queue

The Wraith can one shot the medic and supporter and then it is gg. No other monster is so fast and so strong. I instantly quit a match if I see a Wraith.

I think Val is easily the most powerful Medic in the game for a simple reason :

You can 100 % focus down someone for healing

Literally heal beam the person the monster is focusing, and move in if he's taking too much damage to heal pulse

If the monster is targeting you, tranq him and then spam your sniper rifle while dodging

Also Sniper Rifle is hands down the best weapon any Medic is getting, allows you to multiply damage output rapidly if the monster is trying to play his moves instead of going in leeroy

Also the Tranq Rifle is massively underestimated, you can literally not lose the monster the entire game if you take all jetpack perks (as you should) and constantly pelt him
