Why are there so many "speedrun" games where they're basically just playing the game a bit faster than an average player? It's like everyone wants to be a speedrunner so they just pick a game that isn't done to death and call it a speedrun.
Watching something like Super Mario 64 or a Zelda game compared to this shit is way more interesting because of all the glitches, techniques and actual SKILL required.

For games I hate like Zelda, I like the heavy glitch runs.

Then there are games like X4 which have very few skips but use some cool glitches to kill bosses quickly and have interesting movement optimization.

A balance is cool. For the most part I dislike skipping huge chunks of the game, but I do like small skips or huge time saves.
