Anyone here a good Lucio?

I'm looking for Lucio advice, as I'd like to be able to play a support decently, and I feel Lucio is the superior solo-healer compared to Mercy.

Whenever I face lucios, they're always hard as hell to hit and whatnot, but whenever I try to play Lucio, I just get shrekkt.

Any advice on where to position and whatnot? I feel I should be in the midline due ot the aura-nature of Lucio's passive healing/speedboost, but I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Nah, tournament Zaryas are also charged up quite often.

The actual trick is to place your shields in such a way that they will almost definitely take damage.

So for example you shield yourself AFTER Pharah/Junkrat/Symmetra etc. have already fired their projectiles.

Or you shield your teammate from a Roadhog ult/Genji ultimate etc.

You can also literally walk into certain ults with your shield e.g. high noon, pulse bomb.

Losses don't also seem to be as punishing as everyone makes them out to be, I can lose 2 or 3 games before I even go down 1 and more often go up 1 rank in 2 games.

Bastions damage dropoff is very severe so that's an option. Junkrat is also very good on maps like route 66 where you can hide from the payload. Also if you get behind them as Junkrat it's very easy to burst down the Bastion with two grenades and a bomb before they even know you're there. Lucio can sneak up on them and push the Reinhardt off the cart, leaving the Bastion very exposed. Tracer pulse bomb will one shot the Bastion.
