I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bottle and put them in a bag and started to say the price, she kept interrupting her by hulloing really loudly.

For those of you that remember my truck-posting a few days ago: This is what the uncle that gave me the truck calls "new brakes."

I think he's trying to kill me.

This means that I can safely say the friction material on the passenger side brake didn't tear off; there simply was none. So I had metal on metal contact from brake pad lining and rotor that I didn't bother to check because... "New brakes."

He also apparently changed the master cylinder, but the brake fluid that came out of the lines was sewer water.

I've been over most of the rest of the truck in pretty decent detail. It's as you would expect from a nearly 30 year old vehicle, but not much worse. It seems the brakes are really the only thing that, for what the fuck ever reason, got fucked up really badly. That being said, this gave me an excuse to replace the pads on the front and rebuild a caliper, and it's getting 100% new brake fluid hopefully tomorrow, time and weather and rust permitting. This does necessitate a replacement of the rotors at some point in the near future, though. They're going to be a bitch, but whatever.

War thunder for the PS4 is a straight port from PC, meaning you still have a mouse cursor on screen and all and it's not that tedious to use.

Nodes on PC are terrible already, any node that brings you further from the moons of the planet you are orbiting is a fucking mess where a slight off movement of the mouse of one pixel results in a deltav error measured in the hundreds. Editing maneuver nodes requires the UI, the local location and the destination of the burn. To plan a burn well you need all three. Lining up all three with sticks will be a sad joke.

Have you ever even used multiple saves functionality? If you have, you'd know it's unusably buggy in the PC version and is going to be even worse on consoles.

Toolbar UI means ANOTHER control scheme to implement and memorize. But it's actually two because there is an inflight toolbar and an editor toolbar, with discrete actions required of it.

You need a separate button for right clicking parts while in flight (there will be some kind of selector that lets you scroll through the parts on your ship but I imagine it wont play well with symmetry or asymmetrical ships

Staging requires click and click and hold and drag, which are discrete options. Again, needed in both flight and editor modes. Another scheme to memorize for your ps4 controller.

Resource menu is ANOTHER UI that will require its own scheme unless its literally "point and click with a reticle" which is hilariously bad implementation for a console game.

All of the modes will require you use a reticle to click a tiny button in the corner of the screen. There wont be hoverstates I'm betting so guessing what these buttons do will be a sad charade

It's not that I can't come up with an idea, it's that it's ANOTHER control scheme on top of the 45 gorillion we already have.
