So the other day I was giving a look at the FAQs of 4chan and it reminded me of a question I always had since I started visiting the site:
Why do they put so much emphasis on sage not being a downvote?

I mean, sage is pretty much universally used to post one's dissent towards the thread, the poster or what have you, while not giving it a free bump at the same time.
I can see how sage could be used in cases where you might want to clean up the last few posts of a general after a new one has been created so you don't get two threads in the same page, but that's probably a minority.

Its a regulary updated alpha game, the perfect setup to experiment with anything. So just make parwelding into the game. If it doesnt work, take it out the next update. If it does, keep it. Thats how we got the current sytem: Harc diabled in-ship collisions, and adjusted the collider limits, to see if it would help. Even if you have to scrap it, im sure 70% of the used coding could be used elswehe that you guys didnt thought of, so its not a waste of time. (like instead of having two states of crafts: packaged and invisible/unpakced and fully simultaed, have 3: With the new on being converetd to a sinlge part, thus saving on physics simulations, but allowing it to be displayed in all of its glory, until you dock/swtich to it)

Build system will be redone that will break crafts, period. Aerodynamics will be redone, thus the current planeparts will break thus needing a rework. reentry heat will be added, so all part tolerance, thus the parts themselfs will have to be redone, as well as the overheating mechanics, so an another round. Water wil be redone, so bouyancy->another all part rework. New plantes will be added/ current ones modified-> "avaliabvle science" changes->tech tree nedds rebalancing, and so on, so on.... You already have a scenario system as mentioned, and using that would solve ALL current and future problems that WILL come with career mode. Like how it still doesnt explaing how the navball works, whats the indicators on it mean, how an orbit work, what limits in the game are intended and what are enngine limitaions, and so on. Answer me this, if the game is "top heavy" why didnt you guys add a comprehensive tutorial using the scenariosystem, that would introduce new players to the basics of the interface, build system, the basics of orbital mechanics, and an explanation of all major part roles (ex: engines: whats thrust, whats vectoring, whats ISP, what purtpose they have, what engines fit which avarage situations...), all modular, so player can pick what they are stumped about, and learn about them, whiule they can fifure out what they want in their own peace.

You guys contradicetd yourselfes, because the tech tree just adds something to new players, that REQUIRES them to know how to build, use the navballl, the right click menus... without explaning them. So instead of easing them into know how to get into orbit, they have to fiugure out how to do since.

in contrast and for the sake of example resources would only need to be botheredwith, once the player want to bother with it, while with the the tech tree, they first have to figure out how to research stuff. If you think players can do that, why dont you trust them to handle 7 extra parts in their parts list?

seriously tutorials should be just a "challenge" mode to get the highest you can. It records your best, and congratulates you every time you beat that. When you get to- or above 70k, a massage pops up: "Did you know you are now officialy in space?" when they get to 150km an another massage "try pointing to the right (90 on the navball) when you are 70km high" with a merker appearing on the navball for all subsequent launches form then on, like the one you have, when a manuver node is set. But this alone should be enough to guide most people into how to build viable rockets (its easier to just have "go up" as the objective at the beginning and easier to gauge the succes of rocket desings), and then nudge the players in the direction on how orbits works.
