From what i've been hearing Legendaries are pretty much mandatory and i'm kind of discouraged with my Striker being Vitos (and no other striker in sight in near future it seems) and my Legendary being Jin when I see everyone has Metatron/Bell as legendary and a cute striker. Also, can someone give me tips for my formation? I also have Yuna/Sara/Nia/Nevantos/Shairan/Trones/Selpina/Jess/Sirius/Muriel/Rosaria/Ramia/Igrit/Jackson/Kevin if any of those cards are any better. You can get by without multiple legendaries, especially if you are whirlwind. Meiran/Nera mid is a strong budget option and their backline is the strongest.

Jin is a very good legend because he is flexible. He works great as a gk and has strong synergy with Kiki, who is strong enough to fit into basically any backline. If you want to use a different gk, Jin is a great totem and can hold the EBM unique spirit stone.

If you consider Shanti cute, her rate is going to be boosted next weekend. You can try drawing for her, or if you are unsatisfied with your team she seems strong enough to aim for if you are going to reroll without the hassle of trying to get a legend.

The boost to her stats and the 30 crit she gets is a huge thing. The added 30 crit is akin to one stack of Metatron's Will off the bat when prior to her EE she needed to get those stacks going in order to crit.

We also knew long before that her EE would make her a stupidly strong striker because of her passives. Not many people used her prior because there were simply better choices as she didn't have the stats that she does now to compete with other strikers.

Her kit was great to begin with, but not many people were willing to run her without an EE. Now that she does have an EE along with her amazing kit, you can't ignore that she's one of the best strikers in the game.

There's a huge difference between running a Striker or GK without an EE to running any other player without an EE.

Miho and Milky have great skill sets, but you can't deny they're fragile as fuck and are only being run on the team for their passives. You can't do the same thing for Strikers and Goalkeepers though. It's a much bigger deal for Strikers and Goalkeepers since they play the biggest role in whether a match ends early or late.

I think it's hard to compare a striker to a player like Miho, Milky, Magnus, or the s2 passers. Those players you are using because of their utility, whereas a striker you want to do as much damage as possible so the stats are more important.

Another thing I forgot to include in my first post is the shift in teambuilding. Crit resist is much easier to come by now, so Shanti's high crit ceiling with WoM is more noticeable. The nerfs to Silla/Luka also elevated Shanti since strikers need to provide their own pen. The JP stones will make her even stronger since the ww pen has pass receiving as a secondary.

Pen builds sounds counterproductive considering DI debuffs don't work well with pen because it's nothing like Sharr/Griff class DI.

If anything she's a versatile striker that can handle AB recoveries, has a skill against low DR, and has a skill against high DR, but I don't see her being particularly good against any single meta that makes her 'cancer'.

My Bea made it to rank 112 last season, but that was with a 4 man front for most matches and a shit back line. It was a very risky team to run.

It would have been a lot safer to run a 3-man Shanti line and then that extra player could focus on the backline again. I was running without a healer all season, and that really hurt if a match dragged out.

I have been slowly developing my Shanti for a while now. At least for ardor matches I will most certainly be running Shanti. Beyond that I will have to see how it goes.

William you want to skill 5/5/3/5 when you have max superbs on him. Passion is lowest priority since it doesn't benefit his damage in any way.

Typically the skill build of a player will depend on whether their active is worth maxing so that the auto will use it.

Inline passers, almost all strikers, healers, and active block goalies typically always have 5 in their active.

Leaders depend on how useful their skill is.

Penetrators and defenders typically don't max their active.

League PvP doesn't pay out enough to accomplish anything early on, because the rewards get better with higher tiers but you're stuck with nothing if you're in the lower ones

Everything else you do about the game involves using a manually controlled team and it's important to get that sorted out first, primarily via preferring characters that are amazing in manual play instead of being strictly good in PvP only (see: characters that have heals, have defensive buffs, and a lot of pure damage)

Long and Forward passers are the only ones I usually see vary. I don't think any long passes besides Askeladd's are worth maxing. Some people max forward passers, but it depends on the strategy you are trying for.
