Shanti borrows from several cultures. Her grass skirt was polynesian and her shaman garb looks more Asian than north American.

The word shaman comes from Asia. East Asian shaman wore bird and moose head dresses as well. The ones who did this ranged from parts of china, up through mongolia, and into Siberia. Shaman in Indonesia also wore feather head dresses.

Shaman in Korea were less into animism and more into brightly colored robes and silly hats. They look like old people cosplaying as Tohou characters.

Hey /ssg/, I'm a fairly new player and I'm getting a bit lost in all the different currencies im stacking up, so I have some questions.

Is SS like Pad where you need to only roll during certain events? (Like Godfests)

As a new player once I have more than 300 crystals should I go ahead and roll the 10+1 thing?

What are friend points and do I need to save them or can I just blow 2000 on the friend gacha?

What is GP and how should I be using it, should I just be saving it until I have it in the tens of thousands and spend in the scout shop thing?

Finally, is it stupid to throw gold at upgrading spirit stones? Or should I be saving up gold for something I don't know about when I'm higher rank?

Anyway you save up 1600 or 1800 GP to scout a unit you want when it actually shows up(It won't.)
Always scout littres and beelzebubs.
Only do 10+1 draws if there is a higher draw chance for that certain character you want,otherwise it might become a waste.
You can do FP draws whenever.
Gold is used for stone upgrade.Beware of the scout button.It can kill.

Never played PAD but usually you'll want to spend your crystals when a character you fancy has a boosted rate

FP are just for drawing, blow them whenever you like though I tend to hold on to them for weekly achievement and emergency GP

GP is used for scouting, use it on superbs, littres, beelz or players that would fit your team. If you find something you're unsure about just post it here along with your team and people will generally give you decent feedback

Gold in the long run is always spent on stones for combining uniques, you probably want to save some early though for evo'ing your team as its pretty expensive

it is true her non-active crit rate is in the low 200% range which is not enough, but because the first shot tends to critically wound the GK that second shot almost always ends it.

Beatrice tends to have very high non-crit damage. Mine still has over 3000 dribble with 100% pen behind it on a normal shot. That makes for a very reliable followup kill shot even if it doesn't crit.

Encouraging someone to use Bea seems like screwing them over, though. Bea just isn't all that fun to use. As I said, it's frustrating to need to rely on active so much and also needing to crit so badly yet not having much crit in passives.

With Irru, you get to active over and over, and you get lots of crit. That's just a lot more fun.

As a new player you can do 10+1 draw whenever. Once you have a better idea of your team it's more efficient to be strategic about the boosted rate weekends.

FP draw can be done at anytime. There is no incentive for 2000 vs 200. Just try to get your biweekly achievement done to do 50 for the littre.

GP is used for scouting and will be the primary way you get players and manager. 5 star players cost 1600 and 5 star managers 1800. Pick up a 5gp 3 star penguin everyday for the daily achievement and there is a biweekly achievement to get 20 players so those penguins are basically free.

Gold is primarily used to upgrade spirit stones and boost player stats once you have your team decided on. Earlier in the game you will use it to evolve players.

There is nothing as major as godfests, since there is always 5 players + 2 legendaries with higher rates. For new players, it is better to just roll them, and when you start wanting specific season 2 players(unscoutable), you roll when their chances are higher(always announced on patchnotes and OP).

Friend points main use is getting a Littre every 2 weeks from the achievement of rolling it 50 times. It is as useful as friend points in PaD outside of it, so almost none.

GP is one of the most important currencies for new players, it let you buy stuff you scout. 1600 for any 5*/6* player, or 1800 for a 5* manager. It is one of the main sources of players you need to complete your team, so don't waste it on things you can easily farm.

I wouldn't waste too much gold on spirit stones as a beginner, since you will have sink most of it in powerups, evolutions, and some other stuff you won't need to care about later. Also, it is almost a waste of gold to spend it on low grade stones.

I have a question for Shanit users: Where does her damage come from?

I played against several different high galaxy Shantis from last season and pic related is one of them. This is her first and second shots.

She died sometime before her second shot so her WOM stack was wiped out. Shura is buffing her crit rate while Jin is debuffing it so that all makes sense. She normally has very good crit rate I gather.

What does she she do about pen, crit damage %, and the low dribble though?

Some matches are decided by the opening coin toss and that early advantage it gives.

If Choi can advance and pass his totem buff to the front line the match can end in the next 2 minutes.

IC Linmay can instantly pass to striker to start the match, which instantly kills one of the defenders and gets the Gk hp below the Silla magic barrier for followup shots. That kind of advantage in the opening minute is pretty huge.

IC Virgil in the backline can also get a free steal when the enemy reach the line. Not only does this prevent a shot, but his active skill is paid for and he then heals the entire team and fills their action bars.

Any of these scenarios could be the "point of no return" in that match. Claiming that IC isn't powerful because it only works once is an offensive joke.
