New ranking exploit to get MMR.

Playing in a 6 stack reduces MMR by 1/6th.
Playing in a duo queue gives you the same MMR you'd get solo with a small bonus for playing in a group.

If your OW rank is high enough (75+) and you queue at the right times, you can play in a 6 stack by splitting into 3 groups (2 per) and queuing at the same time. If the players are on your friends list you are more likely to be grouped with them than against them.

With the additional increase in MMR from winning and a reduction from losing. You only have to win 2.5 games to 1 loss instead of 4 or 5 if you were playing in a 6 man group. This will allow high rated teams to reach 90+ rank if done properly.

If you actually enjoy playing support, you'll be valued and probably find a premade to play with pretty easily. You'll also be pretty miserable in games where your team can't kill anyone though.

Find some people to play with and learn how to actually play the support classes. They aren't as braindead easy as they first appear and it is possible to be shit at both.

Are they planning on doing the league way, aka, the higher your rating the better chance of getting around that next season.

I find league does it great, say you get to master then you won't get completely reset and you're able to place much higher on placements due to the past season, avoiding getting stuck in "1 good player and 4 shitty ones against 1 or 2 and 4-3 shitty ones"

If someone is low level playing d.va they are incredibly daft.
If someone is high level playing bastion, they are either really reaching or they're pulling a cheeze strat.

I wouldn't mind earning less rank if it meant losing less for a loss or when someone on your team quits.

The problem is if someone on your team quits or gets disconnected then you either play at a disadvantage or leave the match and take your lowered rank on the chin. This means your next few matches are going to be with lower ranked people who might be low rank because they're bad. If someone quits or dc's in those few lower rank matches then your rank drops even further and you can't solo queue at all without being in a team filled with shitters.

It should take longer to de-rank and longer to rank up so that there is at least a mixed bag of people roughly in the same skill level. Right now they've forced solo queue to be a salt filled, stressful experience where nobody feels like they're being ranked properly (which they aren't). Not to mention when people get disconnected and the entire server lags, the person usually re-joins. It's blizz's fault that players get dc'd not their own.

At what rank would you be considered a good player? What would the equivalent of a CSGO Global Elite be in Overwatch?

If overwatch was translated in Finnish, you would have to choose either singular or plural for reapers die die die. However, if you choose plural and there is only one enemy present, then it will come off as overly polite and formal because using plural for a single person is like German sie.

So how come winning a payload match as fast as possible is considered the same as a team barely winning in overtime in ranked mode?
Shouldn't the team with the fastest time win by default?

Comparing to Overwatch ranks the top 1% is 67 upwards.

Supreme in CS:GO is top 3%~ so in OW that would be 63 upwards.
