Still working on this even as I play the game. Wanted character to look older (late 30's or early 40's) and a bit more weathered but it's kinda hard to accomplish with just a diffuse map. As it is she still seems rather young even with those extra wrinkles. Will probably have to look into utilizing the normals from rugged race or something, get some more defined crow's feet and other more detailed lines in the face going. Happily welcome any suggestions on the face, since I keep tweaking it little by little anyway and am still trying to improve it.

Completed Honest Hearts first and got Graham's armor, so I made it craftable into a variant lightweight sort of ranger armor with the duster, but keeping the SLCPD vest, though the stats are still identical. Wanted ranger armor that would still let me utilize light armor perks so I'm trading off the DT/DR. Shame I can't find any good hi-res textures for it.

Sorry to say anon, but you're not entitled to one. IIRC this is on Intel Graphics, and those are not supported for Fo4.

If the ini tweaks, and the newest drivers did not work, then you're probably SOL. Your GPU is either broken, or incompatible to FO4.

One last idea would be to pirate older patch versions, and try these.

I'm not sure what that means. My inspiration was, primarily, "Sister of Battle", though maybe I have this tendency to give a lot of my character's graying hair because of my own head of prematurely white hair. But the personality, being "tough vet that's been chewed up and spat out by the warmachine but still cares about those they fight alongside" is a little more Raczek from Starship Troopers. Went so far as to customize a body type to reflect that degree of physical damage, though I really need to add more scars.

Oh, sorry. I got it from one of the people that was working on that old Fit For Athletes mod that died a while back. They actually sent me a load of of meshes that they never implemented, some of which aren't functional, but most of which seem fine but never got publicly uploaded.

Found a model for a robot arm in there, interestingly, and decided to implement it into my latest character's backstory.

I had told them I wanted to help them finish it in any way I could but the guy that gave it to me basically said he had no more interest in working on it, but was happy to give me everything he'd done up to that point.

Welp, I've fixed the Bgsm and textures. They are 100% done.

And NOW...I've got to recalculate the normals on a handful of the hairs, pic related had many issues; but not anymore. Recalculating the normals again seemed to have gotten rid of that strange "light" showing up. Then add all the other bangs...and eventually apply physics to them.

I'm not sure anymore when I will be done with this, I started out with 120 hairs, but now I'm down to 70. Deleted a lot of them for being really low quality or generally looking weird. Or already incredibly similar to existing hair mods. If everything goes smoothly from this point on, I may be done by possibly Sunday or Monday.

Yes, I know, "works on my machine", etc., but unless you're using NMM to install your mods or some retarded shit like that, you shouldn't have any trouble with updates. Just install them manually, PROPERLY, yourself, and they'll still function. I can confirm this has been the case for me across several patches, even before Far Harbor was released.

Just learn how to do it yourself and stop just depriving yourself of patches and updates.

Have you never heard of Gary Stus? They're just as prevalent. They'd have to be, given that a term was invented just for them based off Mary Sue. Their tacklebox doesn't save them from being a poorly written character, nor does it make the character inherently more worthwhile. Being relatable or interesting is more a human trait than one that can be ascribed to sex, the problem is you have too many writers that either don't know how to write for the opposite sex and gloss it over, or simply try too hard and end up with yet another dull or uninspired stereotype anyway.

But if you feel you can't write for them and make a conscious decision based on that, I applaud the decision because it's better than the alternative.

I can only see it being useful if, say, there was a synth factory device...and it required hundreds of power to operate. This does look cool, though. I hope you can build this shit on the surface as well.
