You mean 5-6 cards right?
If he was to drop Maxx C upon your Kepler he would start with 5, if he was to drop Maxx C on the advent of an actual special summon, he would start with 6.
Under no circumstances would it end with him starting with 4.

Getting 8+ cards is for all intents and purposes an immediate victory.
But fucking the opponent over to just have Kepler or whatever on the field with no other support is just as much of a victory. You essentially got him to do nothing with his entire turn just by dropping Maxx C.

my petdeck. Koa'ki Meiru are my favorite archetype (hence the name), and this is the best the deck can do. Dies to Dimensional Barrier and floodgates, but doing THAT is fun. No, it means adjusting your deck based on the tournament you're going to, which is metagaming. In online play, as long as its not a horrible hit to consistency, power play cards let you win more games than you would've over a large sample of games. In small tournaments, the stakes are lower and with fewer rounds played, the unplayable hands/bad topdecks are less likely to appear and even if they do, it's not a big deal. However in large tournaments, you're more likely to get those bad draws and losing a match because of it, especially in later rounds, is significantly more punishing because of what's at stake (Minerva/Invite for large tournaments vs. booster box at best for locals).
