Are you even in the guild? Cobe is a great GM and he's done a lot for this guild. If it weren't for him the guild would have died long ago and we probably never would have stepped foot in Ulduar. Real content just doesn't work with the general because most people would rather use raids as an outlet for memeing and don't really care about progression. Most of the serious players are still here. The problem is that they're just vastly out numbered by the people that don't care at all about progression or doing anything worthwhile. They show up to a raid and act like idiots and scream randomly or this or that. Thankfully a few of them have left like Aerobatics and Snack but there were never enough serious players to fill a 25 man in the guild and it was just a matter of time before everyone that cared got disheartened because not enough people actually want to do real 25 man progression. Cobe was even talking about how you can literally FEEL a lot of people half assing it when we do attempt hard modes and he's not wrong.

it really, really depends on you. both have active bgs. wotlk has [somewhat balanced] arenas, but vanilla has world pvp. I guess I'd recommend wotlk because vanilla kind of just boils down to camping a spot for hours on end (with your friends probably) and massacring every keyboard turning clicker that happens to want to get to the instance portal with it only ever getting exciting if there's more than one keyboard turning clicker. world pvp is sometimes extremely fun though and something everyone should experience once, but it's mostly just casual fun.

All right so after running around dalaran I found 5 players with shadowmourne, two pvpers with no icc achieves and three with almost if not all icc25 achieves.
On /who there seems to be a couple of hundred players in dalaran, mixed horde and alliance, and since it's peak hours right now it seems that shadowmourne is pretty rare overall

Don't listen to the shills shadowmournes are pretty rare on Icecrown. Donating doesn't impact a server that much. Most people playing WoW private servers are poor people anyway.
The problem that plagues private servers is resetting raids. If a server has that you can't stop the stream of shadowmournes anymore because slavs might have no money but they do have time to farm icc 25 normal 4 times a day.

Why not both? Level a character on GD with <no queue>. 14x rates means you get there much faster. Try out no queue, and transfer onto TOD once your 80 and you can experience both without losing anything. No need to shitpost, just try both and the choice will be pretty clear.

A small mistake will absolutely fuck your dps. Said dps is middle of the pack performed optimally.

It is also super mathy. One new piece of gear can dramatically change your stat weights. If you are lazy/fuck up your simulations your damage will suffer.

Overall its a spec for autists with low payoff. Consider looking into playing sub or fire if you want a challenge that has pay off.
