I think I figured it out, but I didn't know I could fuck up this way.

I am using MO to load mods and LOOT to sort them. I went over the 255 plugin limit in Total Plugins, which I have a total of 261.
However my actual Active Plugins are 213 since I used the bashed Patch and I merged several mod patches using TES5Edit.

It seems that I can run perfectly fine a New Game, but every time I try running SKSE through MO while having more than 255 total plugins (NOT ACTIVE PLUGINS, BUT MORE THAN 255 plugins in my load order) the game crashes every time I try to load a game, regardless of whether it was saved with or without these plugins, yet I can still load fine when I'm under the 255 mark.

So, I've got no idea what's going on.

Are there any mods that add something like an Item Burden system? Not just overencumberment, but bonuses for staying lightweight and debuffs for nearly breaking your back all the time. Being a huge Dark Souls nerd, I like weight being a factor in my character's build beyond how much loot I can carry, such as moving faster than if you stacked the highest defense. There'd be a practical reason to use weaker, lighter weight equipment as well as a reason to not be such a kleptomaniac looting everything to the point where you have to go to three different stores in three towns just to sell all the loot.

Mine is a harsh and brutal landscape filled with monsters and fought over by four (perhaps five) warring factions, whose borders fluctuate as territory is won and lost. The roads are only kept safe by wandering knights, and monsters the likes of which have never been seen before roam the wilds.

It's typical. The UV around the neck on the body is such a tiny portion of the map, there's no way to get any real detail there. On the contrary, the neck on the head is the entire bottom of the map.

So what you're pretty much stuck doing is putting a shitty level of detail on the neck just so it blends with the body.
