Ive been trying out armlet terroblade and have found that it is ridiculously slot efficient for him. The sustain is great especially because it is a bit tricky to itemize sustain for him, the str gain makes his illusions beastly and obviously armlet toggle becomes an option. It also makes illusion sunder way more viable in the heat of battle(armlet actually gives double health gain to illusions right now for some reason). On top of that stuff you have more armor, damage and attack speed.

Most of this stuff applies to naga as well, but it's obviously harder for naga to be a factor early in most cases.

Blink Ult Dagon 5 kills any hero with sub 2.4k MAX hp in about 1 second.

Add veil, and that number is 3.2k hp.
With eblade instead, that number is 3.5k hp.

Only problem with this is that you have to be low health for it to work. You can rely on creeps to lower your health or whatever, but it's much more efficient to go armlet to decrease your health. Terroblade's armor is really high, and as you level it gets even higher, so the longer the game goes the less reliable that is going to be You'll also be less vulnerable while the armlet health drain process is happening.

Drow starts rely heavily on physical damage early on, so +3 armor when hitting someone, especially supports make a huge difference in fights. Drow is also often paired with Venge, in which case it helps to offset the -armor from wave.

And how hard siege is completely depends upon the picks. If you pick early heroes that are supposed to dominate the opponent, but still don't have the capability/sustain to do highground early, you picked poorly. Also I wouldn't say that it's just comeback mechanics that make broken siege and cleanup kills change the outcome of the game. It's usually more about the matchups, where if you get advantage early and dictate the pace, it usually means you have lineup that gets online much earlier, thus the opposing team likely has likeneup that gets online much later, which usually means they have the advatage in late/superlate game, thus if they break siege and equalize the score, then they are the one leading and winning from the matchup, thus often times people refer to win timers, where one team has advantage to certain time period and after that the opposing one is the one with advantage.

Of course that's all situational and very complicated to actually implement on such large unspecified scale, but the concept's still relevant.

I still agree that some games are kind of boring thanks to that, you are the one team that has the advantage and it's really hard for the game to slip away, but you can't siege yet, because you just can't, so you just need to endlessly gang/farm up and then just get your win 25 minutes later even though it was decided much earlier, but that's how the game was picked and how it was played.

It's still much more exciting game than it was in the past.

for the love of god START BUILDING VEILS ON DP, double nulls in lane + raindrop is fucking OP, siphons is super strong with a 10 min veil and 4-0-4 build (yes thats right, 50% of the time you skip level in ult on dp because people just dodge every fight you take when you pop it/nuke or pull the creepwave when you use it to take tower forcing you to back since you cant afford to take tower hits and you end up with 135 sec cd on ult for taking half the hp on the tower), its also the only viable armor item on her apart from shivas, which you hardly ever get untill your second big item at the earliest.
pt/phase, bottle, raindrop, double nulls make you a fucking beast in fights, maybe a stick/wand instead tp at times for even more early game mana/hp substain, then get veil to free item slots for tp/euls and stop carrying raindrop around.

Definitely go treads, you can get both Aquila and Raindrops at the same time, it's only
225 extra gold.

Raindrops help with mana reg which allows you to use your illusions to farm and give you a much needed hp boost against nukers

Aquila also boosts your mana reg and gives you an aura enhancing your push. The stats are still decent for agi heroes.

Treads make your illus stronger and give you hp (and mana if you tread switch).

You need the early stats, that's why Dragon Lance is core. Your illus can farm like crazy with just these items.
