I have 63% win rate in competitive after 30 matches or so, and I lost two ranks. I'm not going to bother with competitive until they fix the king of the hill shit, because it's ridiculous. King of the hill takes longer too, but currently it's bugged to only give only a tenth or so of MMR of a payload or assault loss.

They do give some, but it's a really small amount, and even smaller if your team's average MMR is higher than the enemy's. Lots of people have positive win rates and are losing ranks because KOTH is valued pretty much nothing.

For what it's worth, I think Zen is a lot more relevant outside pro play, largely because enemy team comps can be so different. Discord Orb can be really nice when the enemy team is stacking Roadhogs or something.

Hearthstone tournaments are still (at least until the semi-finals) typically based on so few games that you don't really have an idea on who the better player is.

Every time they say they want to make a class good they give it too many good tools at once that just make it absurd.

Even after asking for a professional card game designer to help them in setting up their new Standard and Wild format they threw out most of his suggestions because of a marketing/finances scheme based on making money off of the guys who just boot up one game a week on his phone on the way to work.

I've also noticed as Tracer me doing a lot more damage then I should be when I'm losing.

Actually good ones can really help out, but they're fairly rare and even when they actually are good they still end up pissing off both teams. Good Widows are like good Winstons in that it's not so much about getting kills or getting on the objective as much as it is about completely ruining the experience for the other team. If you get kills or objective time then it's a side effect of that

If you consider yourself a good Widow player you should make it your personal goal to give the enemy team one hundred percent ult uptime Hell On Earth every single game and to get at least two people bitching at you in chat, much like if you consider yourself a good Winston you should be making sure the enemy healers and snipers are not even remotely having fun and are spending too much time respawning and making the walk of shame to be effective

I feel like a range buff would be a welcome but unnecessary change. She needs buffs that allow her to play a tank role more effectively. I'm not one to say what that consists of, but buffing her ability to rush and kill people will just make her another flanker/attacker. And at that point where shes alone in the back lines why is she even in the tank category.

You have to play widowmaker similar to how you play bastion

never stay in one spot. be ready to fight while moving. prioritize killing squishies first

I think the biggest mistake widows make is thinking you have to take a losing fight. You have a grappling hook for a reason. run away and set up again after that winston/genji/reaper is off your ass
