They are alright on their own (there are way worse classes in the game to be honest), but you may need some extra investment since her chron sets are shit (so, after your halidom set, your options are either legends or epic sets), her buff is stupid (crit damage, but no crit% passives other than the general one, gotta get them emblems and beads) and her skill tree, while fun, have a very weird level placement (your main damage passives are actually awakening passives, so popular stuff like "+1 on level 1~20 skills" isn't going to be a big upgrade for vagas, though vaga's buff is level 20 so you can use the cutest doppel pet).

Turn off widescreen and play on 800x600 fullscreen. I thought this graphical update would make the game unplayable on my toaster, but the game actually runs better now (silky smooth and all that shit).
But if you can't handle DT even with the config above, you should probably avoid f.slayer classes, especially sword master because of her magical projectile spamfest. Try older classes, like m.slayers and f.fighters, they have simple animations and special effects compared to newer classes.

M.mech is better than his female counterpart. I prefer f.mech, though.
M.mage's glacial master is better at the "magic user going full melee" gimmick than f.mage's battlemage.
Lancer is better at spear combat than battlemage too.
M.fighter classes are usually better than f.fighter ones, though I'm not sure if this still is the case right now because of the recent f.fighter buffs.

Yes, get 6p sudden annihilation, the fire bracelet and ring from guild dungeons, de los glory necklace and forgotten fellow's necklace (assuming the buffs stack), fire damage magic stone, and great glory necklace.

If the buffs don't stack just get the cheaper of the two pink necks and a great glory neck.


Also if you ever have the money, get floo's determination for buff swapping. Not necessary, but it is a damage boost.

liberate madness lags when you grab too many enemies with it because the explosions spread around to other enemies (destroyer does this too to some extent)

it's not uncommon to get an 8000+ hit combo from using it just once if you position stuff right with scaffold

as you can imagine, doing 8000 hits in one frame and processing all their damage and god forbid any on hit procs they might have just demolishes any pc

if you use it on lone enemies there's no lag
if you use it on a lot of enemies that are spread out it's fine because the hit count doesn't explode
but if you use it when the entire room of 10+ enemies is in the same spot and overlapping, i.e and e.g when you gathered it there with scaffold, then prepare your anus

at the same time you're lagging while everything is grabbed/dying so it doesn't really matter from a dungeon clear perspective
fixing the lag would mean gutting its damage anyway

All the dungeons past the first have a pretty annoying gimmick and boss. Just nuke the spiritual residue stones in the first and its basically all trash mob rooms.

The only problem with the first is that the Resurrected Soldier monsters have absurdly high defense for whatever reason. You'll take longer to clear those than the boss room, who dies in a single cube rotation (even on most lower level alts). Maybe there's a way to bypass it, I'm just a shitter and didn't feel like trying anything aside from weapon element

The rewards are worth it but I'm already really sick of it after only 2 days of 10 alts. Takes me anywhere from 1min to 2m30s per run.

In Land of Torment there's a Crystal on the top left corner of the 1st and 3rd room that gives you a Frosty Aura (its kind of hard to see). While you have this aura you have run into the fire without getting burned. If you're in a party it's important to note that ONLY ONE PERSON CAN TAKE IT. Party members will be immune to the burn as long as they stay close the person with the Aura.

In Cave of Grief there's a Fire that spawns in each room. You run into it to get a fiery aura and it allows you to not get frozen every second. If you die the Aura goes away but the fire will respawn once per room. If you don't have an aura you can use a Toy of Sparkling World for the Freeze Immunity every 10 seconds. I haven't run this one in a party yet so I don't know how the fire works in a party.

Once you get Veiled Cut, all your kicks become really good, so Needle Sorbet, Topspin, Spriggan. Also Chain Snatch, even though it's not a kick.
