Yes and no. At the end of the game, the NPC you have the highest affinity with is chosen as your beloved. Literally every character in the game (including children) is eligible. They're kidnapped and you roll around with them next to a bonfire after you rescue them. That's it. 8 characters do have unique romance dialogue but it's very minimal.

Iron Bull is a bit shit as a tank because his spec is geared towards damage, but it could work if you give him a sword and a shield and don't bother with the reaver tree. Blackwall will always be the best tank though
