I don't even play this game but Junkrat seems like best boy

just switched from console to pc and it feels like a completely different game. I dont see how they can keep both versions balanced when applying the same buffs and nerfs to both version. Ive never seen a Mcree ingame on console after the nerfs but obviously with a mouse and keyboard he is in a pretty ok place. Torbjorn gets constant potg and 30+ kills on consoles, in pc you can just stutter peak a corner to kill turrets with ease.

How does a energetic military trained woman (Tracer) and a fucking metal robot (Zenyatta) have less health than a random thicc chick in thick clothing (ok, not saying they should have 250 health, but at least raise them to close the gap a little. I'd say 200 health should be the character minimum aside from Pilot D.VA, but 175 is ok~ay I guess)?

Anyway, I wasn't serious. Lowering her HP would be a frustrating nerf. I'd rather see they lower her fire rate/larger magazine+less damage per bullet to force her to "stay in place" longer to deal her damage. That would make it easier to peel her off, which is the most important part of anti-Tracer tactics imo.

The problem with her health is she dies in one hit alot. If that was changed, I would have a complaint (only characters like Roadhog should be able to do that. Having characters lie Junkrat and Pharah killing her in one hit, but not anyone else, is absurd imo)

Can you shield your team with Dva's defence matrix? Like, if you are all standing on a point, and Reaper comes in wishing for death, is it useful (with Dva) to try to stand between him and my team? Or does the defence matrix only block damage strictly to Dva?

Yeah the reload is fine. It feels good.

But if the fire rate was slightly lower, you would have to wait a bit longer to empty your clip on someone before you can blink away, which would cause more situations where the Tracer overextends.

In comparison, just nerfing her damage would be annoying, because then you'd have to end up emptying several magazines in a target for a kill. That would suck.

Nerfing her cooldowns would just be lame. It would force you to slow down your tempo, but it wouldn't stop Tracer from murdering Mercy all the time since she can still store her cooldowns.

No. Tracer's guns deal 240 damage per magazine. Sure you might miss a bit, but you should also be headshotting a bit. It's completely feasible to oneclip someone and good Tracers WILL do this regularly. That's when Tracer becomes a problem.

I'm not great either, and the answer is that you should be able to get any 200 hp character down to low health witth a single mag, maybe even kill them.

It's 240 damage before headshots, but there's both a decent amount of spread as well as some damage falloff. I have an issue figuring out the proper range to be at sometimes.

I have a 60% winrate with Reaper. I usually pick him for KOTH games and when we need some damage and a flanker. He's good on either side of the Attack/Defense line, though I don't like him as the solo carry - where I mean "person that actually does shit" because the rest of the team is usually a bunch of no-damage cowards who waddle around the chokepoints or offense players who are too scared to shoot people.

You need to remember to aim for the head - because pellets can headshot - and focus on the squishy targets with wide silhouettes you can shoot. Mercies, Hanzos, Pharahs, Widowmakers, etc. Also the fatties like Winstons and Roadhogs, and turrets.

Figure out how to combo your wraith form to dodge shit like Roadhog hooks and McCree flashbangs, or just plain run away to a health pack.

Then every once in a while, show up to the point and press Q and then walk off again. Reaper could work as a front-liner but that requires his team to actually work with him and that's never going to happen in a pub. Flanker / ambusher / spawn camper. Once you picked off their backline, move towards the objective until they or you are dead.

If you start killing people enough times (e.g. the Mercy), the enemy team will probably break off from the objective just to chase you the fuck down. Even if you die, that 1v3 probably bought your team an extra 20-30 seconds. Totally sucks to play against attentive and competent Widowmakers and Bastions though, because usually you have to choose between them or the one guy who is solo trashing your team/turret respectively and you have to decide whether you think you can juke the Bastion or tank the turret before you die.

Also try not to 1v1 Meis unless you're sure you can kill them. Reaper is a good matchup against a Mei but unless you get in a couple good headshots before she notices you, you're going to have to wraith to a health pack before you can finish her off and that's when you're vulnerable to her teammate helping her out

Go into training mode and test out which ranges her guns stops tickling people (it's 12 units, but you need to do it yourself so you can start envisioning it). Just don't shoot people before you reach that range, because then you are just firing warning shoots and putting yourself in a position where you have to reload before you can kill them.

And just work on the aim. You need to push past the 30%.

Also, the secret technique to survival that Tracers usually don't mention is you should ALWAYS DASH SIDEWAYS when you see someone facing you. Are they looking at you? Then dash so they don't.

What is your opinion about blinking through people? I usually just blink sideways a lot but sometimes the map limits you in some directions. Hallways exist even though it's probably not the best place to be as Tracer.
