>OVERCASTING SPELLS
Double click a spell (it needs to be a boostable spell and you need to have enough magic in the magic pool) to overcast the spell
There's a 50% chance that the caster damages itself though!

>QUEST BATTLE TELEPORT
Select your lord (make sure he isn't garrisoned or in a stance)
Select the quest battle (on the map or through quest log)
There's a button in the bottom right of the quest battle window that you can use to teleport for 5k gold (when the battle's finished you're automatically teleported back to your original position)

>GROUP ATTACK
Group units with ctrl + g
Select your group and right click the enemy
All your units move and automatically direct themselves to and engage enemies they get close to while maintaining formation

Yep, the big free healthcare shit we have going on. It was a pretty big talking point, since the Leave campaign was promising that all the money that we gave to the EU would go to rejuvinate, now Farage is going back on it.

The real question is where that money will be going, because honestly whether or not it goes to healthcare matters less than what IS going to happen to it
Either way there's going to be an economic downturn for, a few months, maybe through the summer, and during that time you're almost guaranteed to have referendums start on Ireland and Scotland.
>I was blind
But how blind do you have to be

Will it though?

I mean, isn't "Brussels can fuck off" almost their ENTIRE political platform?

What are they gonna stand on in the next election? They can't base their ENTIRE party on "Brown people are takin' our jerbs"
>>
>Spain is immediately going for Gibraltar.

A new deal surrounding Gibraltar is probably something the EU(If it still exist) will demand if the battered and broken UK asks for a new EU memebership. EU will have all the cards this time.

Is it beginning? The reaction to Brexit was strangely dulled before but is the shitstorm from yesterday and the day before going to continue now?
>>
>>146462841
Brexit was more of a lose lose situation.
Voting remain subjects you to Brussels and its constant transition into a European superstate
Voting leave subjects you to short term economic collapse and a balkanized island

Leave is the better long term vote to preserve national soveirgnty but neither was particularly ideal
>>
>>146462979
I don't know, a superstate would have been pretty glorious, even if the UK wouldn't have existed anymore. There's no pride in balkanisation.
>>
>>146462979

>Oda has 2 max rank generals in the same stack (Oda Nobuhide being the other one)
>one rank 4
>can bet that most of his units are at least rank 5

I wish they would stop cheating with the XP at least. If they get units that they literally couldn't support financially early-game - while nonsensical, it's manageable. Having high star generals is difficult to manage because of their innate morale boost from levels alone, and Oda has poured his skills into the general bodyguard upgrades which means he can probably take out half my army alone.

I have to basically get to realm divide and be overly aggressive with one stack to get one max rank, and he somehow gets 2 of them, neither having left the stack from the beginning which kills the XP for anyone who isn't the AI.
>>
>>146462942
I want to fuck machi!
>>
>>146463023
But the superstate simply wouldn't have worked. Stress over immigrants and whatnot is already high and frankly speaking European countries have as much in common with each other as Iran has in common with China, but as it is the EU wouldn't be able to create a stable superstate period even under ideal circumstances.
I'm actually against Brexit itself, but I'm all for slapping the people at the EU awake and getting them to fundamentally fix their shit.
>>
Wonder if Cameron still thinks his one party government was worth it.
>>
>>146463178
From what I've heard the real problem for the EU superstate was that the EU decisions were too in favour of certain states instead of the whole EU. At least that's what I've heard.

Democracy isn't something necessarily good to begin with. Personally I don't think it's good at all, especially in places like the US where 70% of presidents get on because they're good at talking and not necessarily anything else and spend their entire first term preparing for re-election.

In M2TW there was tons of guides, theory and mathcrafting on how make the best of guvs (avoiding situations on which would get you bad traits and seeking situations on which would get you good ones). In Attila I've found no such thing and WRE and ERE emperors at the start have a high tendency to end with all sort of shit traits. Is there any legit workarounds to avoid crap like the Harsh trait for a governor-emperor?
>>
>>146465719
It's not actually relevant, but what matters is that they left AFTER someone who is relevant left which further erodes faith in the EU. If Finland and Netherlands both leave we might see a lot of others walking away too.

The Roman Empire was structurally crumbling and pretty much everyone knew that. The EU, where half of its states are so reliant they're being constantly bailed-out by the other half (mainly the UK). The EU, where its most important member just left. The EU, about to collapse as Euroscepticism surges. The EU, which has utterly failed to achieve any meaningful FTAs. The EU needs us more than we need them. And yet leave won, I suspect you were the dleusional one expecting a remain win yesterdat at 12am? you seem to not understand principles of a single market. The eu is a promise to buy goods at a price adjusted by the EU which is higher than world prices to protect industries. That means when the EU buys world goods they throw a charge onto it so it is more expensive in relation to EU products. The EU will therefore want to buy products from Britain because ours will be more competitive.

and here's a fact for you, BRITAIN IS IN CHARGE of negotiating deals with the EU because THEY EXPORT MORE to US than WE do to THEM. We are their best market, now even at a basic level you know that in the restraunt the customer is always right, same principle applies.

The EU referendum was a strike-back against the establishment which has so continuously and woefully abused the British people. UKIP perfectly captures that anti-establishment vibe. It's why they're currently polling in the low 20s. The fact that we just voted to leave the decaying and corrupt European Union against all the EU-funded lies reveals just how passionate people are about being independent. We are looking for a third-way. UKIP fits that bill.

Historical Team – Unannounced Total War Title
Game Director - Janos Gaspar
This team most recently released Total War: ATTILA in February 2015, which went on to become our best-selling ever follow-up title. Since that game was finalised for manufacture at the end of 2014, they’ve primarily been in the early pre-production stages of our next historically-based major release. That involves planning, scheduling and researching the period, art styles and technology we want to put into the game. They’ve recently started prototyping some feature ideas and that will be the next stage of development that will keep them busy for now. It will be some time before we reveal this title. It will be huge, it will be historic. It will not be soon. It is not worth asking any more questions about it ;)

I think the massive number of beastmen and wood elf factions that appeared in that leak is really indicative of that.

Poland will probably have to step up to protect it's neighbours(and interests) if EU or NATO can't give any support.

We -don't- have true sovereignty, westphalian sovereignty is dead and has been for 50 fucking years.

Globalization and corporatisation has destroyed that completely, the only way to resist this is strong nation states which have enough bargaining power to bring them down. The UK does not have that. Larger and larger nation states are going to become more and more of a requirement to combat corporate forces and achieve actual results for the people living within your borders.

The EU has done a lot on that front.

Open to very few parts of the world because the EU restricts us opening up further. Restricts us from closer relationships with the US and the Commonwealth. Restricts us from realising our true potential. The UK is good enough to stand on its own; it does not need the EU to be a great power in the world.

Except all of the countries you've said have not been warm.

The commonwealth is unsure if it will survive the queen's death. No one should want to be closer to the US because lest of all the English as they systematically subverted everything we tried to achieve after WW2. But aside from that, why be the lesser partner in a deal when you can be a part of the greater partner?

The EU is not just a requirement, it is the only way to remain players and not pieces of the great game.

The EU needs to do several things, including sorting out it's defence so that it can project force globally not just locally to start with.

and yet all the european corporate heads and globalists like Soros came out in favour of the EU. Corporations don't like free trade principles especially when developing countries become involved like we saw in 2008 when the emerging Indian market destabilised currency. Now many european businesses find themselves stuck with punitive regulations for continued trade with the UK despite that trade being more lucrative than ever. They;ve also lost a credible currency in the sterling which will now operate to our advantage in terms of exports rather than theirs.

Regarding building/eco:

1. The first is that dependence on the main settlement building to construct (but not maintain) certain building types makes things tedious.

For illustration, one possible build order for Christian factions is something like this:

- In the early game, convert the settlement (i.e., the main settlement building) in province capitals to the cathedral line, and build as many church schools (+research rate) as you can in every province. Also, build hospices (+sanitation) in every 2 or 3 provinces.
- In the mid-game, convert the settlement buildings to the palace line, and build galleys (corruption control) and mints (+10 to +30% money) wherever possible, and upgrade barracks/shipyards to level 3, if researched
- In the late game, convert settlements to trade city and slowly demolish the church schools when you have finished research

So even in the "optimal" build order, you'd need 3 or 4 conversions. In practice, it could take several conversions back and forth between building types, because the buildings have not yet been researched or you might not have available space to fit the desired building. This seems illogical, as why would you need to convert between palace and cathedral to upgrade a building?

2. The second flaw is that because the buildings affect every adjacent province, the consequence is that the value of a province depends on how many neighboring provinces it has. This means that provinces in central France are far more valuable than those along coastlines or at the edge of the map. The problem with the "adjacent" mechanic is this artificiality in determining when bonuses apply.

You imbeciles should open an history book from time to time, for if all that fear mongering was even slightly true then the german nation as we knew it during WW2 couldn't even have existed since the entire country was literally in the deepest shit prior to it, needing to reimburse literally 2x time their GDP during the worst recession of the last century, which is an absurd amount of money, yet they still fucking managed to do it and make Germany a world power once again.

The 40k gunner weapons don't even have a fucking trigger thanks to those fuckers convincing themselves the guns will shoot

Why did CA remove diplomatic features like map information, and threatening to attack?

Also why can't I ask factions to make peace with another faction? This would be especially useful when I vassalize a mutual enemy and my allies are fucking still at war with them causing a diplomatic penalty.

Will going up the drill tree and making my dudes more expensive and then fielding some of the cheaper troops work? Or should I just spam elite phalangites?

Also what did the greeks- not diadochi do historically?

Divide your horsefucker archers into two groups

Try your best to divide the enemy army into two and make them chase your horsefuckers untill they're really far away from each other

You'll eventually get a chance to snipe off the general making the enemy army mass route

The mass routing works best against christian armies because of the Hunnic faction trait, against non-christian armies tho, you gotta rely on using whistling shot after you snipe off the general

I like them because they actually work well in my experience.

It's also harder to cheese enemy stacks with a way smaller force when defending. That shit was ridiculous from Rome 1 to Attila.

By the time you've run of ammo, the enemy should be really fucking exhausted from chasing your horses around

So a nice all out charge from every direction should be enough to route them

But you gotta make sure you snipe the general off first before you run out of ammo

Also you can raise taxes to maximum without suffering the consequences

But you gotta sack cities 10-20 times in the same turn, your armies will end up being really high on integrity and thus will never start a rebellion

Being at war with alot of factions helps too

It wasn't ''cheesy'', it was realistic (if you don't take into consideration the awful AI that never used its own number to its advantage or did fucktarded choices like sending his entire army inside the city before he even had secured the area by the towngate)

Its incredibly easier to defend a city than attacking it because you fight in choke points where the enemy is always outnumbered and where the defending force will always have a distinct strategic advantage, if the defender play their card well. Hell, there even was one siege back in the days where a single general with his cohort of ~300 horsemen managed to break a siege of +60 k men simply by sallying them constantly for months. Can't remember the name of the battle/king and/or general tho, sorreh.
