SFV is the only fighting game suited for beginners simply because they'll have other beginners to play with. In almost no other fighting game is this true. You can tell someone to go hit training mode for 20 hours and then get steamrolled for 20 hours more before learning the basics but only dedicated autists will cope with that. Keep shitting on SFV even though it's the only decent gateway for casuals into playing fighting games outside of SP content.

Momodora 3 or 4? Both are rather short and linear games. 1&2 are free on itchio and also different so feel fre to try them out. 1 is a cavestory clone while 2 has it's own "metroidvania" idenity. They are all connected by a lore but you can play them in whatever order.

Apart from the online being dead and no lobbies, the main problems are it's missing several stages and some hair styles. It also doesn't have their soft skin engine and shadows might be a bit worse. And maybe it might be missing a few dlc costumes.

Both are pretty fucking bad to get good. Xrd has execution bullshit + too much impact from momentum, SFV has 8f of delay and way too stiff for the fundamentals to translate into other games.
I mean I'm not saying the rest are great games to start with, but no point in choosing a game just because it'll improve your chances of getting better faster.
