For 2 ex i can get 350 armour boots with 30 movespeed a total of 70 res and 86 life

For 8 ex i get boots with 30 movespeed 430 armour 76 life and 109 total res, both of which blow the fuck out of these boots.

The only time i would use these boots is on a volls devotion discharger juggernaut. But fuck even then i probably dont need more endurance charges because you shit on everything already.

Bleeds are a joke for any character that uses endurance charges + armour as mitigation. Especially if you are melee and use fortify.

To be fair, seven league step fell into meta because of lab running last league. Adding 20% movespeed helps with lab clears.

In total, I spent 30 chaos buying coins because I run out of them so fast. I have passive 85% movement speed with 2 Alchemist's Quicksilver of Adrenaline, so I'm pretty much sanic. Even with the really shitty divination I can farm them out quick. I literally burned through around 200+ bought coins and 60-80ish dropped coins to spawn all the 4 chains I need.

I've only sealed like 6-8 prophecies. I think this is fun in low dosage, but as a core game mechanic it's pretty much annoying as shit (just like ghosts that never fucking wanna go in anything). While I love the fated uniques I really don't wanna see this in the core game. Even with the reduced "fetch" prophecies, they still pop up really frequent.

I don't know about you but I like dealing damage.

guys how do i deal damage with 1h and resolute tech

So I was considering coming back to PoE after 6 or so months off (keep in mind I've really only played for about 100 hours, so I'm no veteran) but I couldn't figure out what the one thing that was holding me back from re-installing. After thinking about it a bit I think it comes down to the fact that finding rare pieces of gear or drops are not that fun, since the way currency works, things can be bought extremely easily and only the absolute RAREST of items make you excited to find them.

So really, the gameplay cycle of this game is:

You find/ make/ theorycraft a build you like.

Buy the items it requires via the marketplace.

Play it until you get bored, find more currency along the way.

Find/ make a new build you like.

Buy the items it requires via the marketplace and so on.

And this continues throughout all the leagues, forever.

Does anyone else feel like that this is a boring way to play? The reason I like this type of ARPG genre is because finding new gear and leveling up skills along the way is what's fun to me, as is improving my character. But the fact that once you have a little currency stashed up you skip all that and the game becomes a tool in which you test out your builds/ see how good you are at creating characters.

I understand that there are self-found play throughs and they sound fun, but it's boring when I feel like it's not the way the game is meant to be played, or balanced by and I can see it not working out in the end.

I know full well I'm going to be destroyed by downvotes here but I'm just curious if this is why you all enjoy this game? Personally I love the gameplay, art design and the company but this endless loop of gameplay and builds really turns me off.

So am I wrong here? Is there more to it or is this simply not the ARPG for me?

Right now, 1500 fusings cost around 9.5 ex in shitcore and 27.75 ex in hardcore. It seems like unless it's some super rare that you're trying to six link, it's far better off to liquidate the fusings and just buy the six link, especially since five links are easy to come by with the prophecy.

When I did it, 1500 fuse were about 11ex. It was a perfect rolled Oro's and I wanted the achievement so I bought 1500 fuse and tried. When I got nothing I sold everything of value I had that I wasn't using and bought 1300 more. When that failed I decided I was done for the league.

I realize I could have just bought a 6L Oro's for less but I didn't think I'd be that unlucky to not get it in almost 3x the average cost.

I suggest some brain dead Blood Magic character so you don't give a shit about mana management and have crazy high health to start with.

But really, you choose a skill then decide what class to play with. Just look through the skill list first. Summoner's broad as hell, there's Dominating Blow (lol), Skeleton (retard), Summon Raging Spirit, Zombies, Spectres, or Animating Weapon (variation with Animating range weapon).
