Nah, entity rendering didn't get changed in any major way from 1.7 -> 1.8, just a bunch of refactoring really. I can confirm the animations still worked in 1.8, not sure why that or the kobolds were removed, i thought they were cute. My guess is that it was an art direction thing.

After searching through the thread on the minecraft forums, looks like Kobold was removed because they looked almost exactly the same as the Werecats

As for the breasts... can't say for sure. Doesn't seem to be a single comment on it.

However, every female monster had their model updated. Slimmer waist in some cases, new legs, new clothes, other things. I imagine the breast bounce disappeared somewhere along this process. Maybe because the new models weren't rigged the same as the old ones? I don't know. I don't even know how they did the bounce in the first place.

I'm curious, do you have a link to that? I felt they were pretty different, sure they look similar on a base level but they filled different roles and themes, from a pouncing wild critter to more civilized weapon toting creatures.

For the most part vanilla animations are tied to values passed from events like walking and the head focusing on objects. The bouncing, and all other rotations like limb movement are based on that one value. I did some digging and in this case they're directly dependent on how the right leg is moving.

Also the model code is the same object format so it would take just that line to enable that feature again.

I don't think so. The Brew of Hollow Tears only buffs demons and the undead and weakens players. It is probably useful if you have Imps as a slave and you want to farm particular mobs that are not undead or a demon.

Kobolds were removed because Silentine thought they were redundant since werecats looks nearly identical, I tried my damndest to get him to re-implement them but got nowhere. It's not SJW's bullshit with anything in the mod, the author is asian, he doesnt give a shit about first world problems, trust me, i'm the guy that gave SIlentine that push into 1.8.9, I had to go through a lot of bullshit to get a contact email, and from what he said, he had no idea at all that minecraft had updated, whats more the mod wouldn't have updated without help from another modder on here.

It always felt weird to me that ALL villagers trade, but this would, in essence, be a seemingly better implementation of both a trading system and villages and the nether. No need to invent a new, otherwise useless, currency resource, and gives a reason for pigmen to exist besides just griefing you when you're trying to shoot down ghasts etc. (which of course has a lot to do with making the nether feel tense. It's just stupidly annoying also)

Then they'd just need to be lassoable and have some sort of very basic "housing"-detection and you'd have a neat bit of gameplay, I think.

Magic mods tend to have WAY less restrictions on positioning of blocks and items. A good example is cables, most magic mods don't use them, but most tech mods have some type of cable to transfer power.

I have been persuaded here to only use 1.7.10 over 1.9. The only thing 1.9 is beneficial for is modders and lex's fatass ego. There is no reason to use 1.9 in terms of a player's view (at least for now). I am worried about how many modders will fall for the 1.9 meme; they should have ignored Lex and stayed on 1.7.10. I got stressed over Minecraft drama lately (always). I actually like the 1.9 combat. The (short) weapon cooldown and armor rebalance really helps the game balance-wise. Most players complaining about the combat are most likely either PvP players who think button mashing is a valuable skill or people (MAWPC fags) who dislike combat in Minecraft in general and just want the easiest way out of it. I think you are in the minority. You probably were convinced by other people (Reddit, Lex, Curse...) to try 1.9 modpacks out, even though not many probably exist yet. The real reasons to move to 1.9, if any, are for performance gain and future-proofing. Right now, play on 1.7.10 if you just want to play a damn modpack; you can get most functionality (not all) from 1.8 and 1.9 to 1.7.10. The people in the /mcg/ community will eventually migrate to at least 1.9.4 once it has a lot more mods than it has now.

The one next to the quarry should be sending items and receiving energy. The other one should be the reverse.

The tesseract set to "receive items" will eject items on its own, no servo is needed. In fact, a servo on a tesseract does nothing, since a tesseract has no inventory to extract from.

Post some pics that show more of your setup. Assuming your tesseract configs are correct, it looks like you have some fucked up cabling. I see at least one Energy Conduit that's trying to extract energy from a "Sending Energy" tesseract, and a servo trying (uselessly) to extract items from a "Sending Items" tesseract.
