Just had the best match against a hillbilly. A GOOD hillbilly

If you saw someone they instantly go down.

Trapper is good, but once people get Jake's saboteur on all their characters, which lets him sabotage bear traps, even if they're disarmed, so they're unusable, he's going to suffer really hard. Meanwhile, there's really no counter for hillbilly but getting matched in Autohaven Wreckers. Even high tier survivor powers can get straight up denied if you get surprised sawed in the face.

They're going to know you're there regardless of what you do. If you're uncloaking while touching them, they know exactly where you are and will put the maximum distance between you two.

You can almost always position yourself to cut people off, especially at generators, regardless of where they run. If you uncloak out of sight but very close by, odds are they will run right into your arms, and if not, they usually still don't put much distance between you because they don't know exactly where you are.

The advantage of being as close as possible to a survivor when uncloaking is nullified by the fact that they will run in the exact opposite direction of you while you're busy uncloaking at reduced movement speed.

Having a bit it distance between the two of you is more advantageous because when they hear the bell ring but don't actually know where you are, they will have to choose a direction and run. If you position well, they will either run right into you, or run in a direction you can better cut them off, as opposed to them just running directly away from you right off the bat.

First is Shadowborn, increases POV by A LOT and increases the game's brightness, on the cost of having pretty big flashlight sensitivity, which doesn't mean much since I can just turn around.

Second is Sloppy Butcher, it considerably increases bleeding rate on hit, which is used to combo with the next perk.

Third is Bloodhound, which make blood stains so bright they pretty much glow, and makes them last 3 seconds longer as well. So, if someone is hurt or dying, there's a very visible and continuous trail of blood right behind them, preventing them from having any chance of shaking me off.

Fourth is just Iron Grip.

Bloodhound and Shadowborn are Wraith exclusive perks though.

Spawn of the Entity (Spawn)

A black spider similar to what the entity resembles on the hooks. It swipes at you with a its talon claws, it's cooldown animation on hits is it licking the blood

It's special is laying webs over vault locations, it gains a web charge every 30 seconds. If someone sprint vaults over the web it tangles them, slowing their movement to 75% of it's max for 3 seconds and preventing revaulting for that same time. The Webs can only be removed by doing a slow vault, which does not incur the movement penalty. Going over the webs at any time pings the Spawn. The amount of webs on the map is indefinite.

sometimes the hatch spawns underneath the ground.

this was during beta at least, I could head the sound coming from it

I'm mashing the shit out from the space button when the claws appears and still got killed after 4 or 5 seconds. What's the problem ? It worked fine in beta, i was able to struggle for about a minute or so.

I can't get points. Every game I get at best 15000 points and that's in a phenomenal game, most games it's more like 5-6000. It highly depends on who you are matched with and against.

Currently it takes me around 5 or so matches to level up, and later on that'll probably up to like 20-30 for a level up.

Both are equally as fun, but survivor is more tense and has the most thrill to it I think.

As far as killers I think Hillbilly is the funnest, and probably the best killer since Trapper is going to get fucked once people start getting Saboteur on their jakes.

Nothing is funner than being able to be everywhere because of the chainsaw and chainsawing people from across the map.

Just one thing though.

Some mods for Mount and Blade Warband added it to their overhauls.

It was intended to stop abuse of backing up in combat (which was never a huge problem to begin with), but the idiots made only the player character affected by it. Battles can reach 500 on each side and your character is the only one with a bum leg.

Set your steam download region to Los Angeles USA or another populated area to get lobbies as killer, game is still region locked for some reason but this fixes the problem.

Can we just admit that Hillbilly only really shines in the cornfield?

The chainsaw is best used as a tool for intimidation, closing distances and nailing survivors in close quarters. Not the game's fault you're bad.

And the Wraith's invisibility is supposed to be used to sneak up on survivors and bug them out so that they fuck up and get shreked easily.

I just played two matches of hillbilly on autowreckers and you absolutely can use your chainsaw, it's just not ideal for chasing after people. It is still a good psychological tool, and you can absolutely still use it in autowreckers to travel around. I was able to quite easily go from one end of the map to the other over and over, patroling generators on opposite sides. You CAN turn, if you keep an eye on where you're going.

This is great, I just started playing trapper for the second time since beta.

Nobody knows how to deal with him. I got 3 people in traps in the first 3 minutes.

Also, the perk that makes crows give you audio/visual alerts feels like fucking cheating, it's so good.

Do you think we'll see the guy who wrote the journal? I really do think we'll see him as a future killer, since he talks as if he'd been in limbo forever and his sanity won't last.

In the offerings part, he burns what I believe is a killer's offering despite being a survivor.

Also, his entry on the survivors shows a lack of will to go on any longer.

Lastly, it would be an easy move for the devs to make him a killer since they could more subtly allude to it being him.
