I was getting

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
when I tried to launch the game in the cmd prompt and I realized I'm dumb and didn't update to 1.31 after installing all the new updates and dlc, so it was working fine.

Then, I decided to try to install the Sybaris AIO and followed the steps to a T but it didn't work right so I put my reipatcher and unityinjector folders back in the main folder, ran dongfire patch, and decided to leave it for another time.

Now I am getting the same error and it won't let me run the updates to attempt to fix it, anyone have any idea what i could have done?

I downloaded the mega English translation and it's asking for a password to extract it, I assumed it'd be byreisen from the hongfire link but it isn't working, am I missing something obvious here?

I figure it out, I got the passwords and installed everything but couldn't get the translation working out in game, I definitely need spoonfeeding on how to properly get it working.

Basically the UI translation, the text translation and the loader/injecter/whatever are all in the game folder but it didn't change in game text

try starting a new game and see if the intro is in english, it's the first and the last part of the game i saw translated
if it's not then i dont know how to help you but you're not missing much

Somehow I made it work.

For the female uncensor, extract the UnityInjector folder to the Sybaris/Plugins folder

For the dick, extract the .tex and .model files to Sybaris/Gamedata

Run your sybaris setup.bat afterwards.

So what's the difference between Rei and Sybaris or w/e? I'm currently using Rei, seeing as that's what the HF patch uses, but what does this other plugin do that Rei doesn't? Asking because I want to know whether or not there's a need for me to switch.

Things in general have worked for me in Sybaris (custom poses among others) while they have not in Rei. I think some mods rely on Sybaris as well. If you feel like fiddling with things still I'd recommend trying out a Sybaris install instead.
