It's been some time since I played anything competitive.
Even then I was so fucking bad that any games I was in, I got kicked from due to me just sucking the fun out of it for everyone.

Hanzo arrows are projectile-type and thus have hitboxes that are just lenient enough to be able to hit people that are behind a wall but close to the opening

Tick-rate limits dashing as well - so you'll see yourself dash but the server already registered you getting hit

Melee attacks restore health nearby. Only has melee attack like Reinhardt.

Shift casts a strong direct heal, similar to how you do harmony orb but instant effect with a cooldown

E dampens damage on a target for 3 seconds and damage prevented reduces the cooldown on next shift by x% per y damage

Anything 1 on 1 has a good chance of being competitive, so Quake, Starcraft, even Connect Four.

You can play TEAM competitive games if you have a TEAM. That means if you have 6 people who are willing to practice together and play against other teams of 6, Overwatch can be a competitive game.

If you solo queue, it is not competitive in the least. The pretty colors and sound effects are nice though. Basketball can be competitive if you have a team of 5 vs. a team of 5. Basketball is not competitive if you just show up at the gym and get 4 random people on your team ranging from a little kid to Michael Jordan, and your opponents are the same. Nobody would ever brag about winning/losing one of those matches.

This. First i hated the whole possibility of switching character on the fly, but it has grown on to me.

It's really fun enough to play alone, and better if you have a bunch of friends. Most of the games are still pretty normal in terms of team line-up, and the option of every now and then to go full retard with a team consisting of the same character is hilarious at best.

But yeah, you wan't a "more competitive" game, you better look elsewhere.

I've been focusing on McCree to see how it feels after the patch.

And to be honest its still viable but the nerf has really hit him against Mei and Lucio. Its pretty unlikely with the spread to hit all the shots into those manlets; Lucio heal and run and Mei becomes ice inmediatley.

I don't know, I dont mind, but McCree was my counter to Mei and I guess it can still be if I shot her, flash, and fan the hammer. but It's going to take time to get used to it.
