The new glamor outfits are great and all, and the new gear from Mhach actually blends really well with a lot of clothes. But I'm slowly starting to grow away from Machinist and get into Monk because of it.
Are there any good outfits for Machnist that look good on a young Ala Mhigan?
Also I have a question for a general opinion. I have three main classes at this point - Monk, Ninja and Machinist. I only really have time for one relic weapon do to work. Which do you guys think it should go into? I've actually never put time into relics before, but I have enough crystals for one now.

Back in like 2.0-2.3 I used to be in a fodder FC. In a social way, it can be pretty fun especially with VOIP on hand. Contributions that members put into materials and the sort made crafting less tedious. But clearing content like coil was a pain as most people will not have that type of caliber of awareness. Still, I did enjoy helping them raise funds to get that awesome large house.Then I got promised a spot in a SCoB static. Left them and went through that wild ride of a small FC that grew to be another ERP FC.

If you don't feel like you have anything to do and your friends aren't including you in anything, perhaps it's time to set sail to better areas or just find another game altogether man. If you want to start purely classic, Harvest Moon for SNES. Otherwise, I'd personally recommend either Harvest Moon 64 or Harvest Moon: Back to Nature for PS1. 64 and BtN use the same engine+graphics+characters, but are two completely different games. 64 is a bit more simplistic, while BtN has some more depth and things to achieve. I dunno what to say then, man. Your expectations were set way too high for a massive rush of plots that were all going to be taken. Unless you all had amazing connections, 0 errors, and got in immediately and it was flawlessly coordinated, it was never going to happen. You're on a high pop server and it was a pipe dream. I hate to be such a dick about it, but that's what it is and was. Unless you were all on a server where you can buy entire wards, it was never going to happen and to put all of your eggs in one basket like that and to be depressed over it, is frankly dumb. If you're not the one that purchased your current plot, tell the person to sell it and use that gil to either buy off of another player or wait until the demolishing comes back up (3.35 if I read correctly is when they will turn auto-demolish back on.) Sure it's 45 days from then but once people quit over the content lull again from 3.3, it should be easy to snag one as long as you're online.
Past that just suck it up and deal with it. Not getting a house near your buds shouldn't be that big of a deal. You guys can still all hang out in various cities or visit each other.

If you started with SV, and you liked SV, you may not enjoy some HM games, not because these are bad, but because these are the same, but with less options.
The most complete HM games in my opinion are (More) Friends of Mineral Town, for GBA.
Rune Factory seems like a better option. It adds RPG elements to the HM formula, and you may enjoy it more, and feel like is the next step after playing SV. RF4 being the best, but you can try RF1 first.
