Eileen remember a lot, I think. She's a sharp broad, and considering her arsenal, it's safe to say she probably knew Gherman even before the Hunter's Dream came to be.

But if you get to the point where she ends up fighting you, she's gone completely off the deep end: so desperate to end the hunt that she's willing to kill anything that looks like a hunter, even if you'll just keep coming back for seconds.

The thing is, none of that conflicts with forgetting the dream being literal.

They all remember the feeling of the hunt where they can't die. Eileen refers to her past immortality, Alfred refers to your immortality. Djura knows he once dreamed, and that wouldn't be hard to figure out seeing how many dreamers there are, and how he too remembers what that hunt felt like. Even details like the doll can make it outside the dream, since it's not like even your player is forbidden from speaking about it at all.

The only thing that would is the doll's prayer, which isn't specific enough.

It serves it's purpose. The Glove and ACB are better, but if you've got a beckoner who's constantly drawing aggro then running to the other side of the arena and you want to conserve bullets then it's not too shabby, which I've found happens a lot with Ebrietas, and she's weaker to it so bonus.

If the Living Failures and Celestial Emissary weren't already pushovers it would be greatly useful for those fights, but as it stands you can do them with a +0 weapon blinded and spinning on your dick anyway.

They remember the feeling of the hunt, not the dream itself. They have access to enough information outside the hunter's dream to know that they were once dreamers, without actually remembering their own individual experience in the dream.

Besides the everything, the best part of BB over the other Souls games is they trimmed all the bloated shit off. No RES/Luck/splitting Endurance into two stats. The entire Dark Souls series is full of ideas that were clearly never finished, but BB overall feels far more slick.

Bought this game yesterday. Put in about 3-4 hours before I made it to Father Gillroy or whatever his name is. He killed me but I did have some success shooting him and them using R2 attack.

I reckon I'll need to farm some blood echoes so I can buy bullets and other consumables before I try to fight him again. I upgraded most of my armor. I'm rolling with the axe and pistol. I'm a military veteran. I have some blood shards but didnt realize you also need blood echoes to upgrade your weapon, so again it looks like I have some farming to do.

Also this is the first time I've used a custom profile for me Elite headset. The "bloodborne" voice when you select it is fucking dope.

Gotta admit this game is living up to the hype. The only soulsborn ive played was DeS and thats cause it was on Plus. I never got into it.

Yeah, Arcane requires lots of spelunking. First set of gems you should have are the fire waning gem next to the brainsuccer below the Abandoned Workshop and either Hotdog gems in the first dungeon or gems from the fire axe pthumerians. They'll carry you through most of the game, DLC is gonna be difficult with them though.

Try to fire your gun at an enemy, any enemy, during points in their attack animations. When you hear a distinct sound, and they fall to their knees or something, run/dash at them, then R1. You'll be surprised.

Armor is useless in Bloodborne, outside of status resistances, which are situational. Wear what you want.

Axe is Easy Mode. Try other weapons, find one you like. Upgrade weapons, it's better than just levelling yourself up.

The problem is that very few enemies are weak to blunt, you will eventually be disappointed in its output compared to other weapons.

You're probably doing an Arc build then, of course a scaling 100% with Arc is going to do more damage than an Str weapon with a mediocre Arc scaling element.

Now slap a bolt gem on that cane instead of fire (assuming you have one that fits the slot) and compare that to fire.

As stated above, only prepare to attack when he's tunningbtowards you, itherwise just stay midrage and circle him either rught or left, his bullets will miss you. He'll usually shoot twice in a riw so even if you get hit keep dodging and be orepared for more bullets. Heal as appropiate.
