The spell buff actually increases by about 28 between 30/30 and 40/40. It's mostly about being able to actually have points in other stats though, so I guess 30/30 is good enough most of the time. If you really wanted to be pure pyro you would want to go for 35/35 or 40/40 imo.

at least two available through insight after mergo
bloodborne is short if you know what you're doing, you don't need to go to every location for tedious sidequests, etc

it is far less painful to collect a variety of fully upgraded weapons in BB than DaS3

I didn't summon anyone on my first playthrough of Dark Souls because I didn't want to deprive myself of the fun of fighting them. Afterwards I did challenge playthrough and didn't summon anyone for the same reason (plus I never saw any summon signs due to my level). I don't see why anyone would use summons if they actually enjoyed playing the game, please explain your reasoning to me.
