Symmetra does a fuckton of damage - your turrets are there for the slow effect and as warning systems.

Get good with M2 and learn how to juke like hell while molesting people with M1. If you have a full ramp-up on M1 after killing someone, see if you can latch onto anyone else within 3 seconds because the ramp up stays charged so you start doing sick damage right away.

She is one of the best characters to defend or retake a hotspot.

A Pharah who can actually rocket jump is at a nice advantage. You can bump yourself over many medium walls and start fighting, and save your boost pack as an escape rather than an initiation. Lots of people will immediately dismiss actual rocket jumping as an option though just because the boost is better.
