I'm only level 20 scrubshit and I haven't really read these threads or any OW discussion much.

What do people think of 76 generally?
I've mostly been playing Mercy, Pharah, and Roadhog and had pretty mediocre results.

But yesterday I started playing 76 anytime I was on a team that seemed shitty and/or had poor composition, and it was like a totally different game. I was kicking serious ass and carrying pretty consistently.

Is he considered OP? Or did I just find my guy?

I spent all last night playing monkey and cannot bring myself to not be completely useless.

Squishy characters take an hour of M1ing to kill, I have no skill based alternate fire, I get focused immediately on entry and I might get a pick before dying.

I am better at DVA and she's supposed to be the worse character.

S:76 is good, he excels in maps where he can good height advantage and then keep up a sustained flank (think second cap point on Gibraltar).

Tactical Visor probably belongs to the category of ults that need to be nerfed because it deals its damage too fast and too efficiently (Pharah, Reaper, Bastion, McCree), but that won't be noticed before the SS tier metagolems are nerfed.

The problem is that I'm not good with any character I play because of that aside from maybe Lucio. I'd like at least one from each role that I'm fairly functionable as.
I'm horribly inconsistent with my offense choice, my defense choices are mixed, I'm pretty poor as a tank and flat out hate Rein and Zarya, and Lucio is the only support I can stand to play (Symmetra isn't really a support)

You have to get up close to do reasonable damage, but once you start firing your movement is extremely inhibited. All the enemy has to do is step back a bit and aim at your enormous critbox to out-damage you. Even squishies can best you in a 1v1 this way.

shes pretty mediocre not bad, her damage isn't bad but its nothing special. It has alot of spread making it worse at medium range. Compared to Winston they probably have around the same damage, but Winstons better at staying on a target, and his shield protects in an aoe unlike Dva's bullet nullifier. The devs plan to either buff Dva's dmg output or increase her tankiness because either way she barely stands out from Winston in terms of abilities besides ult.

Is what she got. Honestly there's not a single thing in her kit that's "bad" and you can argue that almost everything is too good.

The first and most obvious thing is to nerf her bodyshot to 125 (same as Hanzo). The charge time should increase as well to slow down her time-to-kill in the hands of competent snipers.

If you shoot the mine she shouldn't get a destroyed message. This is bullshit.

Wallhack needs way shorter duration and longer charge time. If a Widow goes on fire the current uptime is insane and leads to snowballing.

The assault rifle should have damage falloff like every other assault rifle.

Finally the bitch probably deserves 150 HP to make Genji and Winston more reliable counters to Widow.

And buff Hanzo's projectile speed so he can actually rival Widow in the sniper position. His current arrow moves like a snail through the air and forces you to have jedi mind powers to predict where to shoot.

Sometimes a fucking tracer will get away with half health despite taking a shot in the face because all the pellets spread way too much, and sometimes you'll instagib McCree 20 meters away with your secondary fire because the pellets somehow didn't spread much and found their way into his brain

She has a large critbox in the middle of her face and she can't put down a shield to give her more EHP from mid-distance attackers.

When D.Va goes in she'll get killed by S:76 and McCree at mid distance. When Winston goes in he puts down a shield that S:76 and McCree has to deal with before they can peel for their team.

Winston's shield is actually the biggest reason why he's better than D.Va in my opinion.

The maps are for the most part great though. Like, the capture maps are too snowbally once attack knows what they are doing, but that's more an ult problem (which could be fixed by having everyone's ult timer purge when you capture a point), not the map themselves.

The only map that peeves me a bit is Numbani since it lacks proper landmarks so I have problem keeping track of all the routes in it.
