Way I see it, when you're at rock bottom the only way is up!

I used most of my cards to get up to this point (lvl 179). I just finished Tyla Monastery and the next group of questing spots are pretty high for my level (188-194). Problem is, All the leveling zones after Dina Bee up till now have abysmal mob generation/respawn. It's like I've been questing in no-man's land for ages, hardly any mobs or anything to kill. Does anyone know anyplace appropriate for me to grind at?
I'm doing my 3x missions, the 175 dungeon isn't really an option for me because of the horrnendous queue times (20-25m +)
I considered grinding at Tyla monastery but the flying mobs are really strong (frozen cloud doesn't hit flying mobs, and they do a truckton of damage so it's pretty hard for me to grind there).

I only have 1 in Seism and Helm Chopper right now so my dmg isn't quite there yet, saving points to max Seism and Warcry asap at barb2. at 75 get arde+golden falchion or lapis katz, I went falchon route because I'm not highlander to enjoy that extra 50% crit attack.

Fencer builds works better with a 1:3 str/dex ratio or 1:4 with some con to survive magic. you'll dodge most shit with leveled boots + dex evasion and the guardian attribute.

Seism 5 is where the things get interesting, also, cleave is awesome, max it too. Helm chopper is your source of strike damage, look at it with tenderness

That is not how you argue. Necromancers do not afk better than any class that can literally close the game and still function. Necromancers only actually get the silver they get from afk farming because your maps are simply uncontested as a result of the population literally plummeting. Had it not been, Dina Bee would be contested simply by the players actually wanting to grind bees.

It doesn't work both ways. With more of a population, a Necromancer's maps are more contested. With more of a population, you may get some more Pardoners but, more importantly, a Pardoner gets more customers. A Necromancer does not.

How many players do you believe will go through the entire progression to get a Pardoner to idle on while they can also do similar through Squire and Alchemist? Spell Shop is C2, not C1. In contrast, how many contestants do you think Necromancer receives on a highly populated server? Dina Bee is grinded anywhere from 150 to 170, while people higher still go there for silver. A Pardoner can station themselves wherever it's a safe spot/statue. I just said you get more Pardoners, yes, but more importantly, the higher the population the more customers any of the three crafting classes receives. Necromancers literally only lose out the more active the server is. Pardoners get undercutters but also more customers and through the various maps. This general alone promotes buying Pardoner buffs to level alts with. The less active the server, the more Pardoners suffer while afk combat classes thrive by lack of map competition. The more active the server, the more people will buy buffs in Demon Prison, Mercenary Post, Dina Bee, Lepusbunny Territory, cities and outside dungeon entrances. The less active, the more undercutters actually cause a problem because the number of active spots to even sell buffs is more limited, the competition is more restricted. When was the last time you saw Pardoners in Dina Bee? Who would they be selling to there? The afk, non-contested macro Sorcerers and afk Necromancers? They're so contested because there is no variety in active locations.

I wouldn't be surprised if a Pardoner made less than 10 Silver per buff in a high-pop server. Sure, they're going to sell more buffs, but that just means more work for less reward, since you have to refill reagents more often, and you're more likely to be bumped out of your spot.

Of course I doubt TOS's consumers are very discerning, so maybe you could get away with 100 Silver profits just because you were the first shop they clicked. Advertising in shop names would probably reduce the effect of that, though.

In what sense are you more likely to get bumped out of a variety than the present limited range you have?

When highly populated, Demon Prison District 2, Second Demon Prison and Dina Bee are all active grinding spots. On a dead server, they're literally only inhabited by people earning silver. To sell buffs on a Pardoner on a dead server, you need to go where the population actually goes. If this is a low variety, you'll have more prominent competition, undercutting is more of a problem because it's direct competition. When the only dungeons you can sell Pardoner buffs for are 90, 130 and 200 because they're the only ones people run for Arde Dagger, Peta and Manamana/Catacombs Club, that alone is a lack of variety. Especially when those dungeons are also pretty quiet later into the day because everyone rushes them after the reset.

On a dead server, there is no variety at all, you have multiple Pardoners to compete with simply because no one has a choice. Not a ton of people who look at Pardoner will prefer it to Squire or Alchemist. Simony is the "Pardoner gets build variety" option, not Spell Shop. Spell Shop essentially forces you to take Priest 3 and Pardoner 2. That's more restrictive than the other two options.

For example Chronomancers get haste at rank 6 which lets me run sonic fast.

The orange weapon you want to eventually get is a Magi 2 handed sword since thats probably the best weapon you can get for your build. It drops in the 190 dungeon.

My thinking was that I could gather enemies with magnetic force and ice tree and then damage them with ice pike, icewall and psychic pressure, snow rolling or whatever. Rune caster for the ice rune and a bit of support in the form of rune of giants. Also lethargy and ice shield for support.
Since I haven't actually played the game, this might be complete rubbish. It is my first build after all.

The real issue is that there's no way for IMC to actually stop certain add-ons from existing. You used a food analogy, so I'll use a restaurant one. It's kinda like how restaurants say "it's okay to smoke if you do it outside" and others just straight up don't want it done even outside. In this case, they have no real way to live up to their previous statement saying addons were okay as long as they weren't exploiting etc. Certain addons are essentially that, others aren't. They were fine with exp card calculators and displaying exp. They aren't fine with anything that'd be an exploit but again, if the latter becomes a serious problem they aren't gonna actually do anything other than straight up ban all addons because it's easier for them.

The current map exploring system is "chunks", as in, if you are close to the chunks enough it will reveal them. This is horrible by design because even though the map clearly show that you explored everything, some blocks are not reachable without hugging to the map edge.

The best solution would be giving player "visibility ring" so they know that both system and player are seeing the same thing. Thus less frustration.

Addon is just a bandaid solution to shitty design. You can play without it? Sure. But it also doesn't hinder you in any way if anyone else is using addon.

Has anyone managed to get past 80 attribute without rmting?
I think its literally impossible to do and is just for whales since even with an afk sorc and squire along with market jewing, I still barely make enough for a single attribute per day if I'm lucky.

I can pretty much kill it with Stabbing alone.
3% for 50-70k ea is hell good.
I sold like 9x already and it's better and consistent than hoping for karacha/arde cube drops.

all allowed add-ons. From the screenshot alone I can tell you that at least 3 different add-ons are enabled.

There's a lot to do in this game to make it fun and it's not exclusively GvG.

On a daily basis, we have at least 1 person to check Grynas Hills events to see if it's up or not. Our templar just teleports people there for free silver/EXP/recipe and within a day or two everyone and their alt have access to the goddess statue there.

Occasionally we do mass teleport to places like Sanctuary's hidden area and Masoleum F4 and get everyone to 100% complete these maps.

There's also the part where we solve Thaumas Trail and Rasvoy Lake minigame together on all channels so everyone can get their daily pots.

And when nothing else is to be done for the day we do stupid shit like this:

Where we get the guild alchemists to awaken our gears, meet up at town and test them out.

Occasionally we do our own exploration and discovery like some cheap tactic, something that is not widely known and then share it with this thread.
