so aggroshaman just doesnt work anymore? I just started laddering and am on my 5th loss to controls decks with a LOT of healing and removal compared to last month. Actually, midrange or control would have probably won vs them since they included some much anti-aggro stuff like Mind control tech and cheap removal.

It's a counter to all-in rush down decks. If you were having a normal game against it and you have board control and tempo then them reno'ing won't usually matter, you will still control the game and finish them off in the end. But if you go all in like an absolute mad-man then they have a chance to counter you, which will probably still cost them most of their mana for that turn.

What decks do you use to counter Zoolock? I can't even get past Rank 15 right now. I used to be able to get to Rank 5 pretty easily, but it's so fucking hard since all of those Midrange Hunters and Zoolocks are cancering up my ladder.

Gallywix is an allstar. Efficient beater for a cheap cost. Even if they kill him, you get to kill something they got as well. The coin is meaningless unlike in constructed.

No it isn't, memer. Reno is understatted by one mana and heals for 30. A heal that large gives you a huge luxury to build your deck slower and will singlehandedly win you games against aggressive decks. Are you forgetting that Shaman is perhaps the best arena class?

In the end, hearthstone is about lowering your opponent's life total to 0 before yours hits 0, and there will always be decks that try to do this in a more straightforward manner than others. Yes, even in arena. It isn't a different card game.

If you're offered Reno at the beginning, yes.

Basically there's a chance that you'll look back and think "Damn, I wish I just took the dupes." But the thing is, you can't know how many good dupes you'll be offered before you're offered them, and unfortunately since you can only decide one at a time, it's almost never right to pass up on the heal for just the one dupe that's in front of you.

Unless you're playing shaman. In that case enjoy your five fire ele's and seven flamewreathed facelesses.

I've tried a list very similar to this before. Can't get it to work with any amount of consistency so props to you if you're seeing success with it.

Way too many conditional cards and removal, not enough consistent board presence, no board clears, weak win condition, usually dead before you ever drop N'zoth.

So for example, if you have 2 flame imps you go face if its not a flamewaker or some shit. If you have a juggler or a councilman you generally want to keep the board clear to keep your juggler safe

If you're playing Zoo you need to do trades qutie often in order to keep your stronger but damanged minions alive. So you trade some weaker stuff in order to keep the strong things alive.
You have a 6/2 councilman and a fire imp. Enemy has random 2 damage minion. Are you seriously going face and ignore the extremely good trade for the enemy?
Zoo isn't a face deck. The number of minions you have allows you to make the most efficient trades and your hero power makes sure you will always have several minions on board. Ignoring everything except taunts is rank 24 tier playing zoo.

Freeze mage is still stronk in wild, but it absolutely blows in standard. Mad scientist was essential. He thinned your deck, helping you find win conditions- Helped alternate secrets and counted as 2 additional chances to get the iceblock you need.

tempo mage was one of the strongest decks of tgt and loe since it demolished druid and had a great matchup against warrior and a pretty even one against secret paladin
I climbed to legend with it with a 68% win rate just before wog
now that's just not realistic, the deck lost a lot of power compared many of the other top tier decks and struggles to find its identity after it lost so many strong cards, most notably flamecannon and mad scientist, the latter being the strongest card in the deck prestandard and the former being the most important card in the shaman matchup
