Someone actually did their own tournament AGES back, with all the AI characters fighting each other, and streamed every fight. I fucking wish I hadn't been on mobile data and could've watched them all, because people lost their shit - apparently there were some amazing matches.

But man, why is SP so shit at pacing? The Indra/Ashura filler would have made more sense as a story Hagoromo tells Kakashi while Nardo and Sauce head to the VOTE. That way the conflict that caused everything wrong in the series leads directly into the fight that ends it.

I think repeated exposition and flashbacks actually shit me off more than fillers. Like, the footrace in the Land of Tea, while not explicitly necessary, helped add another layer of Sasuke feeling inadequate while not acknowledging his own contribution - Naruto shattered the Lightning Release sword, but only because Sasuke managed to crack it, but he overlooked his own achievement. But I get shitted off with something happening, and then the next ten to fifteen minutes showing me the EXACT SAME THING, but with the colour slightly washed out and someone talking to me over the top, explaining exactly what happened and how it worked, even though I literally just saw it.

I mean, I know it's aimed at early teens who are proper retarded and need everything spoonfed to them, but come on.

It's really not that hard. There are 12 signs, and you can put them in any order you want to memorise them. From there, it's just watching that scene and remembering the names of the seals. From there, it's not too hard. I had the jutsu locked down in like half an hour.

I believe certain signs resonate stronger with certain Releases, but I can't remember them all. I know Tora and Tatsu (Tiger and Dragon) help mould Fire Release jutsu, and I believe Inu and Ne (Dog and Rat) help mould Earth Release, but I dunno about the rest.

There are also other seals that aren't part of the normal 12, like Haku's one-handed seals, the Shadow Clone seal, or Jin- seal, which is something appended to two seals in the Water Dragon Jutsu - namely Jin-Saru (Ninth Monkey) twice. Reversing the hands used to perform the jutsu also apparently has an effect, as some jutsu specify a Reversed Inu, or Reversed Hitsuji.
