To be fair to a few people, there are indeed players out there that have made it clear they're going to use alt FCs and other things to obtain housing, usually for the purpose of resell. Thankfully, that seems to be gaining ire even from SE, meaning players need to just step up and do something about it besides bitching about housing across forums online.

Like on Excalibur, there were several PF ads trying to buy Rank 6+ FCs before the patch hit, since those people are going to exploit how FCs just need Rank 6+ to buy housing, while personal houses require level 50 with full GC ranks completed.

I'm considering being greedy and buying a small cottage in Mist, after buying my FC a small cottage in Lavender Bed, but I'm not sure if I want to be chained to the game every month, or risk losing it if I want to take an extended break. I have 11M to play with
