In a way. The problem is probably in her true damage and stun, but somehow those are also a strong part of her champion identity. Also the part that she excels around multiple enemies, and how getting her lower on health than you are can actually mean the advantage for her instead of you, if just for the stun.

As much as i love her, i sometimes feel dirty for playing her. Dirty doesn`t mean bad though.

the first is things like olaf and pantheon.
Irelia will outscale them but if you have a good jungler or a diving jungler (vi, elise, gragas), you can just shit on Irelia because she'll almost never be above like 60% in lane.
Irelia won't kill darius if he builds tank first. the problem is most darius' rush cleaver and if they don't actually get a sizeable lead, irelia will ignore his item and just kill him.
nasus is pretty easy vs her.
volibear is my personal favourite, he's like a better darius in the matchup.
his level 1-3 isn't as potent but his execute and the fact that he builds health for damage keeps him even with irelia in terms of scaling through lane.

Being good or not good shouldn`t be based on what others think is good, but on what you think. If you get disappointed by yourself, that probably means your expectations were too high. Set them lower next time. When you achieve them, set them higher again. It may sound like bullshit but it works for me, at least regarding League.

Yes, doing badly never feels good for me either, even if it`s just a game that arguably you're supposed to have fun at. ALL of Riot's current design decisions are about playing with your friends and ONLY your friends. Dynamic Queue, skin sets/multi-champ spalshes, party reward bonuses, clubs, it's ALL designed to have players draw their friends in and play as a group to massively boost short term profits before the game bites the big one which it will soon half in part to games having a natural life span simply because interest is lost over time and half in part to the game being legitimately bad and Riot themselves understanding it was a fluke/not having the talent or ability to recreate it's success.

For curiosity sake, I want to know why out of all the MOBA games out there, you decided to stick with LoL (for the time being anyway if you have plans to change games in the future or stop giving shit about MOBA games altogether).

DOTA was my first and go to MOBA game back then, but it has things that I don't like. For example: loss of gold upon death, secret shops (even if you've got yourself a carrier, shit is still a hassle to get out of the base just to buy a recipe), a single hit can stop the effect of a potion (even though the potions can give a handful of HP), the turret system, turn rates, and the RNG the game has ( I don't mind RNG that much depending on the game and how they handle it but DOTA just really loves them. I mean, one character's ULT (Phantom Assassin to be exact) is pretty much RNG dependent). Game also feels a bit clunky to me.

LoL pretty much removed those problems while also giving me some new things that I find to be interesting like the innate ability, different jungle buffs, summoner spells (although this is both a good and bad thing depending on the situation), and the bushes.

Also, I just find the characters in LoL to be more cool and likable especially with best girl Jinx__

Hi everyone. New player here. I am having problems with a champ matchup on the enemy team in the mid lane. I can't remember their name at the moment.

They had an ability that allowed them to farm from long range in relative safety. Another ability was a delayed CC. One of their abilities allowed them to poke or get vision over walls and through bushes. Then they had a shield or steroid ability.

They passively cs from range until they hit 6 at which point they become a major threat. Recent items have allowed them to deal a LOT of burst and after a few items they can delete anyone who isn't the tank.

They have plenty of tools to defend from long range and a big playmaker AOE ability that can win teamfights on its own, I think it was their ult.
